This sounds all very exciting, but sounded less so when declaring ‘i’m going for a bike ride in Bracknell on Sunday’ in the office the other day.
Safe to say no one was jealous or, to be fair, even mildly interested!
They may have a point – mud, cold and numpties – ‘triffic!
Purbecks are clear, i can see them out the window. Didn’t even have a frost here this morning. A few little snow flurrys yesterday, but nowhere near enough to settle.
What are the road conditions like up there? We haven’t even got a frost here, let alone snow. Sunday is looking ok weather wise, just wondered if the roads were clear.
Snow permitting, my ‘tache will be wheeling its way up the M3 on Sunday by the look of it. It could be alone on the journey, as the good Dr will be up that way anyway and El Mulletus will be donning the lycra and making the journey from the West alone.
Has anyone got a duster for a long forgotten bike? 😳
c_g – the best chance of persuading Mulletus will be if we meet you in the car park for a chat and then bugger off for a road ride…hhmmm not a bad idea actually as i wouldn’t have to drive home with muddy clothes on.
I’ll probably be coming up from Dorset unless the weather is too grim. I’ll try and round up a couple of carrot crunchers to make a van full (DrP to the forum).
I usually put my Flip video camera in my camelbak or back pocket. It’s so quick and hassle free to use i dont really waste any time using it and i can take loads of stills from a few seconds of video in minutes.
A couple of weeks in the winter laying concrete blocks pretty much wears your finger prints away, just in time for xmas ‘shopping’.
From the view out of my office window, it appears that Hotwheels (Cycle Sales Group) have about 10 HGVs of bikes going in or out every day – that’s a lot of bikes.
