Another OS Maps subscriber here. Excellent – and you can save maps offline as well.

    Just got back from here…

We did stop over just south of Paris though on the way from the tunnel and on the way back.

Basically because you don’t have to. It’s down to the local admin to define. Could be single.track.world.com if they wanted it to be.

Could you work something out with the existing light mount? Drill to take the bolts from the District mount, then place half a seat tube piece and part of a shim between the mount and the clamp?

Not sure about other places but I can 100% vouch for Fforest. The place and the vibe is magical, the staff are brilliant and the owners are so welcoming. I’ve been a number of times now, both to the Do Lectures and as a holiday, and each time I drive through the gates all the stresses of normal life fall away.

    Lazy more like –

    29.7mm x 42mm directly proportioned.

    35.32mm x 35.32mm as a square.

I know how to install the modules on UNIX/Mac…

You don’t need a degree in programming though it might seem that way.

Basically you download the module from CPAN and unzip it using either tar -xvf or gunzip then the file name.

Then you go to the directory where it unzipped to, type perl Makefile.PL, then type make, then make test, then make install. Then repeat for the other modules.

Haven’t got a clue on windows though. Sorry.

+1 for beerbods. As well as offering a great service they are thoroughly nice fellows doing things for the right reason – to get people drinking better beer and for love. Shipping is always spot on and the beers are varied and interesting.

I’ve repaired X9 rear shifters before. It is a pain but doable, there was a bit that kept popping out when I was reassembling though so it used a little bit of weak glue to hold it in place, worked a treat. Can’t remember which bit it was mind. There’s some useful youtube videos that might help.

Yes. Sort of. This kind of happened to me. I received some last year, which I shouldn’t have done. I stopped it and they claimed it back that tax year. This year I did my SA and told them I’d stopped receiving it, but they still tried to claim back what I might have got paid this tax year. I rang up and went through it all and they admitted their mistake and changed my code back. A good number to call is 0161 931 9070 – straight through to a person every time with no wait and knowledgable, helpful staff. Good luck.

If you pull the end caps off is there play in the axle? Or is the play just in the end cap?

Rubbish. I use my Gransfors Maul for both rounds and kindling. You just need to know how to use an axe safely and properly. For the OP’s requirement I’d recommend a Gransfors forest axe which will, form experience, do both happily.

Premium here. Mainly because I wanted the hinged bits at the side of the grill for adding more coals during smoking. Not been disappointed.

Ta. I think it’s the plumbing/wiring thing that’s concerning me most.

Mortgage wise I’ve already approached them (I work for them) and there’s enough equity in our existing property to raise the funds to buy next door. Conveyancing of it all is a big concern as well.

Just in the thinking about it phase really.

Three floored terrace house here, four including the cellar. Old neighbours had one on top floor. We knew when neighbours were using it, but not massively noisy, more of a thud/hum. Old houses though, thick walls and floors.

The swing arm changed from pinch bolts holding the axle to a collet axle. Stronger and less susceptible to stress.

Got a 3+ Silver here a few weeks ago for £200. Quality is brilliant at 960p, not really used many of the other features. Wifi and App is great for not having to fanny about with the camera once you’ve installed it somewhere. And you can review your footage without needing to access a PC. Not sure that the black would offer me much more. 1080p is too high a quality for my Macs (i3 with 8Gb) to handle I think, keep getting jumps in the footage, so 4K would be effectively pointless.

I’ve also heard that the screens on the 4s drain the battery quicker than the 3s without the screen.

Developed a bit of a gin thing last summer. Not tried the Botanist, will add it to the list. Two that haven’t been recommended so far are Bloom, very floral, and Gin Mare, all mediterreany.

Actually you can’t do it by dragging the numbers to increase them. But you can tag them. Or colour the filtered column and order by colour once the filter is removed?

    russianbob

insert new column next to filtered column. Type something a number in the first cell of the new column. Drag that cell down so you get 1-500 in the new column. Remove the filter. Order by the new column. Paste your new values over the now unfiltered column.

I’m not. But that’s a jolly good idea. If you could write an app that would be ace. I can’t write an app either.

There’ll probably be some pedants along shortly going on about insurance and terrorism/drugs/arms/legs etc but I still reckon you’re onto something.

    Good name as well.

I know quite a special ‘divorce’ lawyer. Works on conflict resolution rather than helping people seperate acrimoniously. No idea how much but might be worth a go. I can give you details if you want. He’s based in Lincoln and London.
