Travel Agents are great until they get some grit/dirt in them, I’ve gone to Tektro Mini V’s less power but lots more reliable and less faff.

Damm forgot about Scott Pilgrim, I’m going to have to watch it again now.

Plus Rango, Serenity, Kung Fu Panda 1.

But Bapple does take some beating

Had two IS200’s and an IS300 a bike will just about fit in the in the boot but there’s no folding rear seats, manual gear box is lovely, auto less so unless you go for the 300, yes there’s the Sportcross in 200 or 300 guise which will give you a little extra space in the rear.

Only thing that let the 1st Gen IS200 down was it needed about 20bhp extra to make it a real fun car. I fixed that by going for the IS300 but it was an auto so lost out on the great gear box.

I’d say lovely sounding engine, Lexus dealers are bloody brilliant and I’ve never had an eyebrow raising service bill, great gear box, comfy to drive.

MPG not brilliant, if you are 6ft+ tall you might bash your head on the sunroof as it takes about 2 inches or so out of the interior roof space, boot opening is a bit small.

I’ve currently got an IS250 which handles slightly better than IS200, gets better MPG but lacks that lovely gearbox and the boot is still a pain.

Never knew that fact about knives, thanks for that, years of wonky bread slices could be at an end. Or I could hack a finger off using a knife in my right hand…

I’m a leftie, no problem using scissors in either hand I sussed out as a nipper how to use r/h scissors in my left hand, handwriting can be a bit smudgy at times, use a mouse r/h as when I first started using one I decided I’d need my l/h free to write notes if needed, cricket l/h or r/h, right footed for football, lead with my left foot on a bike.

To be honest I think with most things I’ve decided I’ll use a certain side for one reason or another and just gone with it. About the only thing that I find a real challenge using my right for is writing.

Where I do think there is an advantage being a leftie is with the trend for a mouse/control wheel in a cars centre console. As usually the car has been designed for a l/h drive market so a person would naturally use their dominant hand (r/h) on the control. So when a car comes over here most people find the control at their left to be a challenge, well apart from use lefties.

Velodrome last night with Ms S, Ninkynonk, Mr Overshoot, Marin and others of this parish.
Great night, cheers for the invite Mark, hope you’re better soon.

Others being Russell96, Higgo & PaulModern.
As you said great night, good to have a chat (well sort of panting chat anyway) and I promise not to leave another 25 years between track sessions!

Twas an excellent evening and the day before a quick lap of Llandegla which was pretty quiet for a Saturday.

Or get a virtual machine hosted in a UK Data Centre and run your own server OS on it with your own registered UK domain name (Don’t go .com .org .net) then you can have an email address for every site you register with, which is handy for finding out what gits distribute your email address to spammers even when you select the correct tick boxes. IMAP, Webmail and a handy proxy server for when I’m travelling and need a UK IP address for the likes of BBC Iplayer etc.

It looks to be taking some design queues from the Xi3 aka Steam Box http://xi3.com/

Plus near to its release it might be chance to pick up a relative bargain out of the current Mac Pro range

I’ll add the Wikipedia entry is spot on, in Bulgaria a nod means no and a shake means yes, well unless they know they are dealing with a non local so the opposite applies well maybe.

Mountain Morph again. Only thing I think they could do to improve it would be to make the handle into a T rather than the L it is now.

I get my Crossmax spares from Pedal On, had XL/SX spokes off them in the past, quick look in their site shows the ST ones, only problem with Crossmax spokes is you have to order a minimum of three.

Plenty of hands on, GNS3 is ideal for it, get the common commands sort of into muscle memory so you can rattle them off quickly almost without thinking which will help you a lot in the exam.

A lot of these designs would prob ride OK with more modern shocks – well excluding the softride ones.

Calling round my mate Vinny’s house, hadn’t seen him for a while as I’d been working away, see a new car in the drive, think bloody hell he’s traded up, knock on the kitchen door, hear a mumbled come in, so walk thru the kitchen into the living room and its full of a family of strangers and new furniture “He’s moved hasn’t he?” I said they all nodded yes and I quickly walked out.

I had measles for the second time (first as a nipper being a child of the 60’s)about 10 years ago in my mid getting onto late 30’s, **** agony one of the most terrifying periods of my life. Wouldn’t wish a nasty case of it on anyone and hopefully all of this media attention will make parents do the right thing.

NextBigThing(TM) AM, then 29, now 650, then ?? things have got that good and as such replacement cycles have slowed down, is that the only way they can generate lots of new sales is to convince people to buy the NextBigThing(TM) Whilst I agree there are some advantages to buying XXX thing(TM) it’s not that big an advantage to waste all that money spent on the last big thing minus 60% for a year or two of advantage till the 625(TM) comes out.
