Putting OpenStreetmap on an Edge 800 is a case of downloading the file, unzipping it and copying it across to the relevant directory on the Edge when its connected via USB, really easy.

Pics show brakes in UK style as is background so not a nicked pic of MTBR , saddle is at correct height which is the usual alert for a dodgy sale when they are dropped low for a XC type bike, agree lack of info is a bit unusual.

Managed 3 in the space of a week two weeks ago, elbow followed by two a cm apart on the back of my hand thru a lightweight summer cycling glove, for once I resisted the urge to even touch them and after a week of itching like mad they have faded nicely.

@WCA it was meant as a message to you could leave her to say she has been missed, even if it is something as simple as an in joke you have together. My suggestion would be a curry go for something really aromatic.

Are you going to leave something to show you couldn’t cope without her?

Blank shotgun cartridges on tripwires, Google them there’s a few about, when they go off they make my ears bleed from the house, so god knows what they are like in an enclosed space.

Well those trees are a bit too wimpy to hold up a bag containing that steamer.

Having seen a couple boom/busts and seeing the effects on motorway traffic, the true indication will be more congestion. After the last bust traffic really dropped off, so I expect with a more healthy economy that there will be lots more people on the roads.

Out in the Clwyds, lots of sunshine with a 15 minute hailstorm in the middle for that invigorating pummelled feeling.

Llandegla to Prestatyn offroad along the spine of the Clwydians, 68km with 1600m of ascent but 1800m of descent, with a nice 30km ride home after. Currently in the post ride, nettle stung bramble cut glow.

Yes where the black rejoins the red it also bisects Offa’s Dyke path which is a bridleway thru the forest so all you do is ride up that to where it bisects the blue route and onto that or if you had carried on along the red to where the drop with the big rock is there is a trail that goes straight on which was the old red route now remarked as blue.

    As per z1ppy,

Calculate one litre of water to every 125g of dried pasta. Bring the water to the boil; add a teaspoon of salt for every two litres of water and add the pasta. After it comes back to the boil let it continue boiling for three minutes. Turn off the heat, cover the saucepan with a towel and the lid, leave it for 5-8 minutes according to the thickness of the pasta, eg five minutes for spaghettini, eight for maccheroni rigati, which are short tubes, ridged and thick. At the end of this time the pasta should be just al dente.

The addition of a big lump of butter left to melt on the top of the pasta as it is served, or of a little olive oil put into the heated dish before the cooked pasta is turned into it, are both great improvements.

I have also got an adaptor that I use with some Nikon AF-D lenses so have manual focus and aperture control. Only issue I have found is using a lens wide open can result in some purple-ish lens flare due to the light reflecting back off the sensor which isn’t an issue on a DSLR.

DT Swiss rims are a right b*stard to get proper tubeless tyres to fit on, if your tyre is slack on one of those then its going to be no good on most tubeless setups, as per the other posts use brand new tyres.
