Over the years I’ve had multiple brands and models of brakes from various online retailers and I have yet to receive any that haven’t needed a bleed, even if it’s just the elastic band trick as 13th floor describes.

It’s gone legacy by Draytek now but they support their products for quite some time, see if you can hunt down one of these >>

Nvidia Shield tablet pretty much vanilla Android on it with lots of updates, nippy cpu and with the gamepad and a HDMI cable it makes for a nice mini console.

Got pissed up with the band one night on the Brothers in Arms tour, lovely bunch apart from the fact that they didn’t buy a round. Got a free tee-shirt and CD out of it, oh and a good hangover.

Yup what FW says, first thing you check on a LAN with issues is if its 100Mb are there ports set to auto rather than 100Mb FD

USB cable getting worse over time, install a battery charging app on your phone that displays the current, it’ll most likely be lower than the max supported by the phone. So then bin that cable and get a new one.

The 14-42 will represent the best value you can get a s/h one for about 50 to 60 quid as Grum says the 14-45 is better but harder to get hold of. The Panasonic 20mm Mk1 is prob the best of the lot but the 14mm is worth looking out for at a sub 100 price as Panasonic released a pile of GF’s bundled with the 14mm at knock down prices. Oh and the 15mm bodycap lens produces some good pics now and then so worth watching out for a bargain price on one.

I use EXIFTool, Google for the download on Windows/MAC

    exiftool “-FileName<CreateDate” -d “%Y_%B_%d_%H_%M_%S.jpg” *.jpg

When this is run on any folder containing .JPG’s it will change the file name from:
    IMG_0087.JPG to 2014_October_14_10_09_57.JPG

effectively renaming it to the second it was taken.

My Surface Pro 3 upgraded no probs, gaming PC and other Windows laptop waiting for ages “we are validating your install…” turns out Windows 10 needs a hidden boot partition size of at least 350mb and whats the default in Windows 7 100mb…

So even if you forced an install using the Windows media creation tool all that would happen would be a wait while it does a 2.5gig download then fails on the boot partition issue. Quick resize with Partition Magic and upgrades complete.

I’ve had one of the 28mm F2’s die after less than 50 shots, aperture went variable and the auto focus died. Luckily Amazon were the cheapest at the time so I’d bought it through them and they sent another one out straight away.

There are a few ISPs out there that provide the ADSL bonding, Andrews & Arnold are another.

Agree with SJ’s comments above, the advantage of EFM is that it will give you symmetric speeds so your upload will be the same as your download. ADSL even bonded isn’t going to match the upload speed you’d get on a single FTTC (what’s being marketed as fibre broadband) connection.

All comes down to cost, and your requirements for upload/vs download.

Also perhaps putting some sort of Acceptable Usage Policy in place, either in writing or technology (or both) so that you can clamp down on heavy internet hitters if you do end up with a limited bandwidth solution.

Agree 4G for 12 people would be challenging, howabout Gig fibre?

Or just put multiple 7mpbs ADSL connections in and spread your team across them.

Or if you do go down the 4G route then howabout Relish

There are cheaper adapters for Nikon to Sony that still allow for aperture control, I’ve got the Fotodiox Nikon F mount to Sony that has a click/no click control. You loose autofocus and stabilisation and the aperture control is just steps and isn’t marked with the F numbers, but at the price for trying out my existing Nikon full frame lenses its worth it.

Damm I’ve been lusting over one of those for my A7 will be interested in seeing the photos with it, the 35mm and 55mm Sony Zeiss lenses are great to have BTW

I was there too watching the display as I was eating lunch, he didn’t remain in a sweeping curve but levelled out then seemed to flip to one side to almost upside down, the disappeared beyond the trees. 10 seconds later this big almost mushroom cloud of black oily smoke appeared no noise just that, the whole site seemed to go silent. Looked to me like he tried to aim away from the event then when the plane flipped it was too late for him to eject.

Was in the shop last week and they had a 1989(ish) Colnago mountain bike with a Campag MTB groupo. Unridden still in it’s original packaging, it had been made for a bike show and stored in the box ever since. They also had some other MTB classics of a similar condition including an early Raleigh Ti MTB and not one of those M trax bonded ones.

Oh.. I thought you would lead with the fact that WiFi at 2.4Gig is the same frequency as microwave ovens, them being tuned to that as its the frequency needed to excite aka heat water. Yes ovens run at 100 Watts etc But do we see the tinfoil hat wearers go around protesting about microwave ovens and the regular testing of the seals on them or the WiFi AP’s in schools or at homes?

Whichever ISP you go with, go with a router that will divvy up the bandwidth equally amongst all the users, otherwise some sod with a BitTorrent addiction will soak it all up leaving you to enjoy your jerky YouTube and Iplayer videos.

    Russell96

Does frequency have an effect, just thinking all those people protesting mobile phone masts yet they don’t complain about WiFi in a school which is an eesential for little Chardonnay

    Russell96

You also have to consider that the mast isn’t pumping out the signal in an omnidirectional fashion most likely it is using multiple directional antenna and only transmitting on the ones it needs to (plus an element of beam forming) In fact due to the height and the directional characteristics of the antenna being too close to the mast puts you outside of the optimum beam path from the antenna.

Converted my 2010 Two Step Lyrik Air to coil and I seem to remember removing a smegging great big air cartridge to fit the u-turn coil, so coil to two step air should hold no issues with inner stanchion scoring.

Been working a hell of a lot in Amsterdam this year, mix of public transport and taxis to get about, the things that strike me.

Road design to slow motor vehicles down on urban/city roads, but fast on dual carriageways/motorways where there are no bikes
Drivers just give way by default to cyclists
You see cyclists in their best, for example women in dresses n heels on bikes
The obvious cycle facilities including multi storey bike parks

Rules are walk into the shop if it’s on stock and cheap buy it, if you have to reserve. order it or want to mail order don’t bother. You can snag a bargain if you don’t stray from these rules.
