Happened to me last Thursday. Local very busy roundabout, that has a multitude of traffic lights on it. When it’s busy there can still be trafic moving on it even though it’s on green. I’d passed the red light and got stuck, when the queue moved off I went, joining the outside lane of a dual carriage way, someone joining the roundabout tried to go straight over and clipped the side of me.
He admitted fault and has paid for the repair (£490).
The amount of people that have told me to put a whiplash claim in is shocking tbh! It’s a scrape ffs!

A sit down wheelie, I edge to the back of the seat and really stretch out my arms.
Unfortunately the elusive manual is proving to be a bit more tricky, I can do it for a couple of seconds but that’s it.

As a kid I could wheelie my bmx for fun. One handed, figure 8s, sometimes even took the front wheel off and rode the thing around.
43 now and been back into mtb for about 3/4 years and struggled. This summer tried to get it nailed and have.
What I found – it’s hard on my full sus, lock the shock out and it’s easier, set your brakes up so there not grabby, so you can ease them on with out slamming forward, seat down a bit, lock the arms out and lean back using your knees to balance.

Yip. That’s me. I can carve a pencil thin line switch, took about an hour to learn, goofy – I still get a tiny bit of skid heelside now and then.

i bought my BIL a leatherman wave for his 50th, first impression he gave me was “oh cheers”
after he had looked on the net to see how much they are, he seemed a lot more pleased.
    probably sold it by now!

Right handed and right foot foward. Spins on my old bmx were always counter clockwise.
I can ride switch on a snowboard but only very good if that makes sense?
I can ride good and bad goofy.
Think it’s down to picking up cheats/bad habits over the years riding goofy but haven’t picked them up switch.
    180 on board f/s switch, 360 f/s goofy.

That’s my dilemma! Get the van I like and live with it being a bit small. (I have my van super organised but as soon as I put a few extra bits in its chaos) or get something bigger than I have. Lwb high roof trafic.

Cheers I’ll have a look at the transit, custom or the bigger one? I’ve had a look in the custom and it looks similar in size to the t5.
I’m vat registered so that’s not a prob.

I’d tell the agent to do one and to go through their insurance, Thier insurance will contact you if they need to.

How can it need a new lintel? What’s it made of paper mashe?
If it’s an old property, internally it’s prob wood or nothing at all, held up by the window/plaster.
If it’s new it should be concrete or steel.

So water has leaked outside and ran down an outside wall, managed to get inside the property downstairs?
Like rain blowing in the right direction? Sounds like the property may not have been adequately sealed/pointed to protect it from the elements?

I’ve been to some nice and some dodgy places over the years and I can honestly say Birmingham on a sat night walking with my family was one of the worst. I’d sooner walk through Newcastles bigg market on a derby day with a Sunderland top on!

Yeah I’ve looked at the crafter. Not many good deals on them tbh?
Who do you lease the transit through?
I don’t need anything huge but the t5 is about the minimum I could live with, just wouldn’t want to commit and be cheesed off with it after 6 mths.

The ply from bq etc will have hollows in it. You would have to fill it and sand.
The under side/edges would need sealed, I doubt you’d need to Formica both sides? Good quality laminate tops only have a backing paper fitted.
You can buy ply effect PVC edging that glues straight onto laminate tops, buy a breakfast bar trim the edges off and fit trim. Give you the look with out the hassle!

Asked a while ago and eventually bought this. It’s bulky when down but its solid and very easy to put up/down.

Buy a hand plane or borrow one. Bit of elbow grease (about 3 minutes worth)
    Job done.
Or in true ST world, buy a festool track saw, ct mini for the dust and a tool belt so you look the part.
Don’t forget the pencil behind the ear!

    Would prob have been cheaper!
Space was the main reason but we’ve purchased a dryer and will have to squeeze it in somewhere, just going to use the washing cycle from now on.

    Update if anyone is interested.

I got in touch with the seller, AO.com, I explained the whole thing to them and they got in touch with Miele, they came out FOC and repaired it again.
It lasted 6 days before the same error code came up.
Got back onto AO (they’ve been great) and Meile got in touch and aranged to sent their senior engineer out who spent 3 hrs dismantling it, and rebuilt it, replacing a few bits, he’s coming back in the new year to replace the front panel as its blistered underneath. All FOC, so hopefully its sorted.
HE did say unofficialy the washer dryers are s***e tho!

    I’m with blazinsaddles.
I use the company that is “diy kitchens” every week and they are a pretty good bunch of people and how they go about their business, but it’s not really up to them to replace customer damaged items.
Phone them up and explain what happened. Next time take all the doors off as soon as you unpack the units!
Unfortunately I doubt that they’ll knock a lot off. If it’s painted/handless, its a special order (as opposed to a bought in door) as the doors are made/painted in house. You’d be looking at 2 weeks before it would be sent out and with Xmas looming it would be January at the earliest.

Had a minor tear in my lower glenhumoural ligament. Landed on an airbag badly.
Lots of physio sorted it. Still not 100% but close.

My brother in law skied at school. Fast forward 14 years and driving to resort the conversation was jumps, skiing backward blah blah.
First turn on the beginner slope, fell and slid most of the way on his back.
Still no jumps but after a couple of hours he had picked it back up.

Reisser are very good but are quite a bit more expensive than the turbo or the gold screw.
It doesn’t matter if your using a box now and again but as I use a lot (kitchen fitting) I use the standard gold ones from screwfix.

Just to add. The van is his, he lets me in most of the time but doesn’t give some people the same treatment!

Mine is coming up to 13 in a few days. He hates, and will have a go at any dog, regardless of size if they give him the slightest bit of hassle. He’ll walk past with out care a dog that doesn’t.
He doesn’t chase cats, birds or rabbits? Doesn’t like to stop in the house alone but will sit in my van/car for 12 hours without wanting out.
Very protective to my daughter, they have been inseparable since she was one, sneaks upstairs every night to sleep on her bed.
Does whatever he is told, in fact I’m sure he can understand English at times.
Will walk for miles, only ever on the lead if near roads or will happily sleep all day.
Would I have another when he goes, with out a doubt, but I might have just hit lucky!

    Was there in 94 ish.
Was only one hotel in the centre and one on the hill and a little hut style village.
Small resort, never been back. Been to borovets about 5 year ago and wouldn’t return.
Been to Bansko many times and although I quite like the place, last time was full of out of control nutters.
Andorra also gets the thumbs up from me.

If there isn’t enough space on the hinge side it will bind, it’ll open a bit by itself and need to be pushed shut.
The usual method is cut a piece of cardboard (cereal box type) to the shape of the hinge and fit to one side, if that don’t work, one on the other side. If it still binds double them up.

The hose on the rear of the washing machine was fitted by me. But there was no running water in the property.
My thoughts are the person doing the final connections should be checking for any leaks.

This video changed my life about 3/4 years ago!
Every time my back went (4/5 times a year) I’d go to chiro and he’d pretty much do what’s in the vid but charge me £35.
I’ve been doing this once a week and the first flare up in 4 years was last Saturday.
Got home, done what’s on the vid and was instantly mobile but the muscles were sore for about 4 days.
Got out cycling on Tuesday night without any pain.

I’ve had this many times. I’ve a patterdale terrier who is as game as a mad frog! He’s 12 now but still pretty fit.
It usually ends in the aggressive dog (bigger the better in my dogs eyes) running in the opposite direction with its tail between its legs! Sometimes, but very rarely it’s turned nasty and there’s been a proper set too, blood and snots flying!
Usually it’s just a bit of chest pushing dog style.

I bought some from home bargains.
4 for £2. I’ve a 5kw esse 100 and once the fire is up and running I put a half in.
It expands to nearly twice it’s size and lasts about an hour.
If I had to buy wood I’d probably use half wood half briquette.
