I’ve a 15 year old patterdale cross. When he was younger he hated staying in the house, he’d happily sit in my work van all day, every day.
As he’s aged he’d sooner stop in. Usually flat out in the same position he was left in when I get back in.

How did I know that was coming!
I’ve the ro150 and yes it’s a superb sander. The mirka sanders are pretty good too but are in a similar price bracket.
Whatever you buy I’d go for a round orbital sander and buy decent sheets for it.

I got the reading from a metal screw in the caseing and the SS drum inside to a copper pipe assuming the pipe would earth.

To me this implies the washing machine or the circuit its connected to isn’t “earthing” a fault.
As you say the copper pipe is “earthed”, you shouln’t have a difference in voltage between the two. ie; if the “earthed” parts of the washing machine are at 110v, so should the copper pipe.

I’d plug the washine machine into a different circuit and test again, also test the copper pipe to nuetral as it could be the copper pipe is introducing a fault. Use a testing lamp if possible.

110v is a nasty shock if your in laws touch the machine and the copper pipe at the same time.

    Get it checked out ASAP!!!!

There is a lot of confusion as to what “earthing” or the correct term “equipotential bonding” is for in a property, but its generaly to bring all exposed parts to the same volage in a fault situation. Thats why my thoughts are that the copper pipe should also be at 110v.

With diversity applied, the demand is 26a. Existing 32a 6mm circuit should be fine for both.
13a induction hobs are about as good as a camping stove!

Can’t see why not. Is the mcb 32a at the consumer unit. If yes crack on.

    Should be fine.
Determine the hob rating, add to the oven.
    Apply diversity eg.
    Hob 32a
    Oven 16a
    Total 48a

    Diversity 48 – 10 x 30% + 10
So 38 x 30% = 11.4a plus 10a total is now 21.4a (add another 5 if there is a socket outlet on the cooker switch plate.

I’ve fitted these in my kitchen and there great. They don’t give off a spotty light like down lights.
You only need hoods or fire rated lights if there is a habital room above.
If it’s the loft and you can get access, stick a clay plant pot on top.

Got to agree with what’s been said already.
Newquay in the early 90’s was a great place. I used to go every year as there was a big surf comp in the summer.
Great atmosphere for all ages. But by the late 90’s it turned into a mini Blackpool, stag/hen doo’s, fighting, puking etc.
Last time i was there was 2002 and passed through Newquay but never stopped.
Lots of nicer places to visit.

I’ve never met a carpet fitter that takes the offcuts.
They don’t belong to them, they’ll be paid to deliver/fit and that’s all.

I’d say probably. I’ve fitted quite a few and never had any problems.
As Rich says “diversity” can be applied which will in theory reduce the demand. Have a look at the link.

The 13a ones don’t have the ohmph that a proper one has!
You really need to find the rating in kilowatts of both appliances to determine the maximum demand.

if you cutting 8×4 you need a decent bench, a sacrificial sheet of 18mm mdf ontop of some trestles is ideal, just set the saw to cut a couple of mm into the sheet.
ive a festool track saw for work but its over kill for a few sheets, id be looking at makita/bosch etc.
have you not got a bq local? some of the stores have a cutting service

They do a special adhesive for fixing splash backs, it doesnt react with the paint, I wouldnt use silicone to fix it

I fit kitchens and clear glass splashbacks are a pita. there fine on laminate splash backs but on painted walls I hate them with a passion!
You could siliconethe edges but it will look naff after a while. If you screw it, be prepared to repaint before you finally fix it.
I use these for splash backs

If there is a spare 32a mcb stick it in there until your sparky turns up and get him to do it and get a eic cert that will cover your arse should out go wrong, (he doesnt need to be be registered with anyone as comercial is different, part p is only for domestic) I would bother with a switch at the minute, let the spark sort that out.

    Id just get a wireless.
I was burgled years ago whilst the wife and I were in bed. That wouldn’t have happened with an alarm.
They emptied the downstairs (including my cockatiel in its cage) and took my car of the drive. Got the car back but nothing else.

Not ghostly but when I was a lot younger, about 14 and a bit of a rebel (idiot), sniffing something I shouldn’t have been, I passed out.
I was with friends and I was out for about 20 seconds but when I come around I’d been on holiday to Disneyland in Florida for 2 weeks. Every detail was in my mind as if it had actually happened. Was pretty weird and freaked me out for a while.

I bought a plot with full plans on it. I changed it slightly, I didn’t have reapply, just a variation application.
I’d get full plans done before I sold it, but then I wouldn’t sell it if it was passed!

    Sadly I don’t have a stove anymore.
I had a fan (Eco something) I felt it made a difference, but only in the room that the stove was in.
Without it there was a huge hot spot near the stove, with it the heat seemed more equal, still with a hot spot near the stove but not as much.

My Wife got me one for my 40th. Mainly for snowboarding.
It generally goes along the lines of “is it on? Is it on? You sure?” Then 10 mins of crap footage.
It’s in a drawer somewhere unused after the first trip.
I like snowboarding, not fannying about with a camera or a pole with a camera on the end.

You can get a torch on felt called tecnatorch. Goes on very easy. Used it a few times and had no problems.
Or you could use a edpm rubber roof.

    What trips? Mcb or rcd?
If it’s the mcb, what size is it?

Basically mcb trip = too much current. (Possibly by the saw starting up, you can get “c” type mcb’s that hold a little longer before they trip out)
Rcd trip is an earth fault. Probably your saw.

Bit far for me to have a look!
I popped into a few local kitchens places with the wife yesterday, as she has to see things, I think it’s a woman thing.
Called into Moben. £35k is their basic starting price!

You’ll struggle to get better quality at the prices they charge.

Ive loads of photos as its been going but that’s it.
The render is nice. I was a bit worried as I’ve seen a lot of poor jobs but a couple of local lads done it and it’s a great job. They’ve done the internal plastering also and it’s spot on.

If you zoom in you can see the grids. Needs another ton or so spread over it.
It stays put when you walk or drive on it. Not like gravel alone and that sinks etc.
