He mentions oven? I’m assuming he is swapping a 60cm free standing for a 90cm range?
Yes it can be cut in situ, but your not going to get the best results as its best to cut from the under side or with a router.
Mark your line, score with a Stanley and cut with a sharp hand saw. It will get a bit awkward near the wall. Fit metal strips.
Or as stated get someone in.

I’ve just bought one and had to go 100mm.
The 125mm needs aprox 195mm from top of clamp to seat rails, 100mm, 25 less
    I needed 175 max.

Left school in 87. Straight onto a YTS scheme. £28.50 a week and handed a tenner over.
Was paying £50 by the time I was 20 but was earning a lot more.
    Moved out at 21

Just what I was looking for!
You’d think they would put the specs on the website?
    100mm it is then.

Your on a downward spiral as you’ll now be looking at other festool kit and you’ll have to have it.
I started with the saw, then the midi hoover.

    1/2 router
    Planer
    18v drill/jigsaw set
    Lots of systainers/drawers.
Use them every day for work.

You need to find where the live/neutral is, usually at the rose, sometimes at the switch and now and again hidden in a jb somewhere.
Take a l/n from there to wall light 1 then onto wall light 2.
Run a switch wire from each wall light to switch.
At light 1 you’ll have live in/out and switch wire. Three browns together/switch wire return(blue) to live of lamp and neutral of lamp to remaining 2 blues.
Lamp 2 – live in and switch wire, same as 1 but 2 browns/ 1 blue.
Make sure if there metal the earth is ok.

Probably but there was young children aboard and I was a very small boat.

Went out on a fishing boat in the Black Sea. The old Bulgarian beer was pretty heavy and had a few the night before.
Needed to go and asked if they had a toilet, they pointed over the side. Tried to explain it was a turd that was coming and they laughed and and still pointed overboard.
Dived in and dropped one in the sea. Pretty weird trying to tread water at the same time.

I have the bosch 10.8v drill and impact driver. The drill is ok for very small stuff but hasn’t got the power for speed hits etc. the impact is ace, it will drive 100mm screws no problem but the battery drains quickly if its under load. It’s fine for smaller stuff as well, you just have to get used to the trigger, pull it half way and it runs at half speed.
I have a bigger 18v for heavier drilling.
    Sds for brick etc.

I was best man for my now brother in law.
I’m pretty quiet and not great at that sort of stuff. I wrote a poem, sounds sad but it went down a treat.
On the other hand he is great at stuff like that and completely tanked it at my wedding, told lots of jokes that weren’t really funny and went on for ages.

I had a bull terrier as a kid. The funny looking white ones for those who mention bull terriers as a general breed.
It was the softest dog I’ve ever come across. I could telll you stories about it all night.
I now have an 11 year old patterdale, it’s lived by my daughter side since it was 6 weeks old, she was 1 when we got it. If she’s in, it’s never within 3 feet from her, sleeps on the floor by her bed.
There is bad in every dog, as there is bad in every human.
    There is also good.

Not bike related, but I bought a chop saw of eBay and sent a courier to collect it as the didn’t offer postage. Has asked if it was ok before I bid and would they box it.
Turned up with half a bin bag selotaped to it!

I’ve a few mates who want to ride regularly. The term “want to” shouldn’t be confused with “do”
One won’t go any further than 6 miles from his house as he always has to get back. Then it’s “I will go tomorrow”, so I put off my ride then, get a text saying the next day saying “can’t make it”.
It’s too cold, it might rain blah blah blah.
    Pretty much ride alone now.

I was on holiday and a tool that lived nearby hit my van whilst it was outside my house. He was trying to bump his corsa and hit the van turning the corner. I recon he would left without leaving any details but my neighbour and a few others witnessed it. He knocked when I got home and asked if he could pay cash, I’d been to the dealer and it was £300 to replace the panel he’d hit. Gave him the estimate and said he’d drop the money off in 2 weeks when he got paid. Never seen him again. Contacted my insurance and they gave me the details of his. Contacted them direct and got paid about 6 weeks later. They had wrote to him etc and he never replied.

I’ve an account with Howdons that gets used regularly. If a customer wants to buy anything on it, it’s paid direct to Howdons at the point of sale. Why should I offer credit terms when I’m not fitting the items.
The always phone me if anyone is trying to use my account anyway.

Never rode anything with it. But it a bit like rocker. Love it or hate it I have heard.

I ve only had one pair of burtons. Est cartels that I bought to go on the custom.
Seemed solid but had to sell along with the board. I think the lower end burtons are of less quality.
164 is pretty long unless your out in the back country?

I had one of burtons first v rocker boards. Not the newer Flying V and hated it. Used it for a week and ebayed it.

Pretty sure it’s not burton who has TBT on their boards?
I’ve snowboarded for 16 or so years. In that time I’ve have stiff full on free ride boards to soft noodle park boards.
Stiff boards = good but hard work and need 100% attention. Not something you want to ride with a hangover!
Soft boards = good fun for messing about with. Not so good at speed (flappy) or when laying it on an edge (pencil line carving)
IMO boots are the most important purchase. As long as the binding are the right size for the boots all is well.
The flex and length of the board is what you want to get right, but because the flex/length changes in each board, a 156 burton custom may feel similar to a 152 NS proto.

Your weight is far more important than your height.
I ride a never summer sl. They do a wide version “legacy”
Great boards but everyone will recommend whatever they ride but may not be for you.

Bottom end of the scale tbh. Spend a bit extra and get something better.

I have lent money before to friends and family. Generally they all take the piss one way or another.
Lent £500 to family to buy a car, ran around in it for 18 mths then sold it for £800 and paid me back.
Better to offend when they ask than to offend by having to ask for it back.

diykitchens.co.uk and get a local fitter to design/install

And I’m a kitchen fitter and have fitted most if not all of the “shed” kitchens and more.

I’ve 2 kitchens in my house and both are from them.

I’ve just went through a booking and bikes come under sports.

You have to watch as if your traveling with someone you have to book seperatly to get the full 32kg each

I fly with a board bag only and never book hand baggage and have never had a problem.

    russ295

    Hold bag 20kg
    Hold and sports 20+12 kg
    Sports only 32kg

If there is more than one traveling they will combine the weight.

[This is why I always tile or fit flooring under build in appliances and NEVER put plugs and sockets or services behind them when I install kitchens!]

Ditto although I usually make a platform for the to sit on. Off cut of worktop or plywood.

Next door asked me to take out a old DW. Had one look and told them they had to remove about 6 floor tiles to do so. That was about 6 years ago and it’s still in there.

Just strap them to the roof? I’ve had 4 board bags on a little 2 door ka.
Open doors and feed through, make sure you put a few twists in the strap to stop noise.
Drove all over the uk with 2/3 surfboards on the roof with out a rack.

Personally as i have renovated a few old houses, I would hack it all off. Open the widows, tape the door shut and get in the loft if you can and bash it down with a shovel. Makes the mother of a mess but fun in a strange way!
