Derby or Belper could do with a nice bike shop. Samways ok but not enough choice for other brands than Spesh or Trek (although I saw an advert for Cotic a while back). BikeShop (Giant franchise IIR?) in monk street aint up to much and overpriced (really really bad web site). Leisure Lakes aint bad.

Belper really needs one, but business there seems to come and go thru the A6 (wasnt there a bike shop in belper years and years ago?)

You can't beat Stanley Fearns in Matlock. Whether its a couple of bolts or a new bike they bend over backwards to help.

make sure you have not disabled it in your BIOS (usually under integrated peripherals). Assuming its an embedded one on the motherboard.

The High Roller hh45 for me has been pretty faithful over the years up front. Good mud clearance from the tyre and tracks quite well. I'm just open to trying a new rear tyre. I've heard good things about the spesh tyres.

Those 3 trails at Chezzie. Are they really that good as I have never cycled around there. I live in Derbyshire and I'm intrigued.

I've just read this thread and what they both have done is deplorable and utterly wicked. But to take a human life? even theirs? I'm sorry people but i'm not with that. Life is sacred. What has happened to these kids? Something has let them down badly.

Sure, lock them up, they may even repent one day for their actions. But lets not take their lives or allow them to take their own. Its just not humane.

    convert,

Well I have thought about it. I did not have my 2 children purely for my own gratification. I had them because I wanted to allow life to be born, to grow and to blossom. They are not promotional displays for myself or my wife, nor are they pushed with my own sometimes strong beliefs and agendas. They have their own tiny beautiful minds and hopefully will contribute to this planet and move on stronger than their predecessors.

Its life. And life moves on.

You need to get a hold on that bitterness brother!

Audio can be played through old IPODS (not ITOUCH though) and USB memory sticks/certain portable hard disks. Audio can also be ripped to the HDD from CD (but only worth while if you have a nice new one with the bigger Hard Disk)

To be the fair the XBOX wipes the arse of the others for online gaming (community and downloadable content). I'd go as far to say its worth the price.

The PS3 is also a great machine. I don't have one but my brother does, and its well built and a nice bit of kit. Good usb support and internet browser.

I purchased a Wii for my son last xmas. Needless to say its now gone, and the 3 year old XBOX is still here. The Wii is woeful, nearly 200 notes for ahem 'next gen' console. Non-HD, Piss poor graphics, lousy IR controllers and a console that cannot play DVDs. Nintendo your having a laugh!

    Project Natal looks interesting too.

Its not about the terrain though MuffinMan as I have ridden the Dark Park aswell. The Terrain can be challenging in the White Peak area. Its the fact that its far too much road based riding. I also forgot to mention I did the ride in the book through Eyam quarry (can't remember the route specifics, but it started near the outside cafe). Again another dissapointing ride.
