I have a 10 year old Panasonic plasma at home and it handles motion (sport) far better than my father’s 2 year old LG OLED. Before purchase you need to get a good test using the type of source material that you use at home.

If I was forced to buy a new TV now I would buy OLED but I’m sticking with the plasma as long as I can!

Much as I like the le creuset pans I’m always worried that I will drop one on the induction hob and smash it to bits, as they are so heavy even when empty.

As a resident of Boltby I hope you all have a really brilliant time and enjoy yourselves (unlike some of the other miserable ****ts in the village that hate it and you with a passion!).

    Stay safe :-)

Changed the head on mine for a Topeak Upgrade Kit Threadlock about £12 from Wiggle.

Much better than the original one…

Should have the Thule fittings for a Toyota Avensis Estate 2014 if you’re interested? Was my company car which I don’t now have.

The descent from 4 that drops down into Boltby is very muddy and as a resident of Boltby is one I avoid unless it is VERY dry, it’s not that exciting either!

Out of choice I would carry on past Boltby scar then drop down the extended blue route through the quarry (turn just before the building at High Barn). You will then meet the road just before point 6 before heading into the forest.

There are some unofficial off track bits in the forest but they are very hard to find. The route mapped should be fine but not very technical or challenging.

Also agree with the comment about the cafe at High Paradise being much better than the one at Sutton Bank.

Add me to the list of potential homes! Haven’t had a dog since we lost our Airedale a few years ago and the wife was saying she fancies a smaller terrier as she likes the border that lives in the village we live on the NYMoors

You can port a landline number to a VOIP provider as I did with Sipgate who charge £30 to do it.

My (infrequently used) laptop has a 120gb SSD and it runs perfectly well on windows 10. For the difference in price I would get a 240gb one now.

As most above have said – kill it all ASAP!

Having experienced it at a previous house where it was growing up an outbuilding wall it is the most destructive plant possible. It goes into any tiny gap and will pull roof tiles off and wrecks mortar and pointing.

If you leave it at a high level it would need trimming every year as a minimum! Get rid…

At that price bracket stick with petrol and probably Japanese for reliability. Something like a Toyota Avensis estate would fit.

However if you are doing loots of miles something diesel e.g. the old VW 1.9pd engine might suit but they will be getting on a bit now and probably high mileage with potential big repair bills. DPFs dual mass fly wheels will be costly if they go wrong and more than the savings on fuel compared to a simpler petrol engine.

But as said above without knowing your mileage etc it is hard to say…

Secondhand NAD3020 were always the go to amp in the day and would match very well with those speakers.

Both the Inn at Hawnby and the Hambleton near the top of Sutton bank are shut!
