see most of my riding is in the lakes scotland and the peaks,i think the peaks would be the worst on a single ring. Oh i hate riding uphills in the peaks. luckily the rest makes up for it.

I keep my vote a secret, i hate discussing polotics with people and try to stay out of conversations involving polotics.

People are so narrow minded when it comes to polotics and seem to be unwilling to admitting that there vote has flaws which ever way you vote.

I’d rather just not talk to people about something that i keep an Intrest in purley to vote.

I voted a different way to the way i usually would today. and not due to westminster but due to the politicion in the area i live being the only person on the ballot paper who has actully done anything for our are in the last 4 years.

I thought it was protocall to pull up next to them at the next set of lights sit there staring at them whilst revving the tits of your motor, and when those lights turn green set off at a sensible pace making sure there front end always stays just infront of yours. glance over and blow them a kiss.

On the other side of the coin, we took a bike to a shopthis weekend to have a brake bled, they said £25 with new pads and bled, came back they had pumped up a tyre and re greased the pedals as well as the work (we would have thanked and offered a bit more if it wasn’t till about 10mins later we noticed). £25 swapped hands. we’ll be back in there if we need to be.

My last couple of pairs were dare2B mooched and 3 in ones but they have gone up to a rediculous price of product thats ok but not exceent quality. Great fit though.

I was just looking for something a little more technical. Single tracks seemto be the way to go by the looks of it.

this kind of stuff? it works but only when applied proparly and in the right way. it not designed to perticularly support joints but more to aid them from moving or hyper extending.

the theorie is it pulls the skinn away from muscles/ tendons and allows the bloodflowto be increased through the carpilaries.

I’d pretty much garantee the 2mm spacer is the freehub spacer,

If you dont know what it is (it sits between the freehub and the hub body to stop your freehub compressing on the bearing and jamming up) its pretty intgral to the moving of the freehub.

and as others have said a tiny bit of grease goes a long way in hope hubs.

So this weekend I’m testing out the weld before it goes for its powder coat I decided on orange with black components andndecals, I have 3 shocks for this a rp23 the manatou radium r or a dhx 5 coil, the manatou has been flawless but nit very adjustable all offer the same travel with different levels of adjustability. I’m really tempted to put the dhx on but need some convincing

There were no instructions or paper work with straps except what was mentioned above the straps were simply camping strap, the spring that holds tension doesn’t look like it’s been installed properly as it sites at an angle, meaning it has popped through the hole between the cam and the outer casting.

But My poor judgment wasn’t really the question, and i don’t think its just the kayaking community, and more the entire world of people using roof bars.

I usually do lock them off with 2 half hitch, but the straps were a little short which was unfortunatly also down the the packaging having the wrong label, but desperation called. i should just have used a rope and taken them straight back but hindsight is always a usefull tool.

The weight was 18kg, it was a kayak, been driving with loads on the roof for 9 years and never had an issue.

will upload pics for people to laugh at tomorrow, but my metallic blue now has some white stripes, and some metal stripes too.

I was there around a year ago and loved it the single track flowed briliantly, the techy bits kept me intrested and the climbs made me a little sticky to say the least, I loved it too.

The only bit I struggled with was the bit before moab (boaring but you cant win them all) and Moab its self had a few dabs and eat dirt at the end.

That’s all very well and good for a tv which everyone knows would sell for more than that price.

But for some one who knows nothing about bikes it is highly feesable that they could buy a bike for £200.

You did the right thing and karma will reward you, if it was my store i’d have offered you a discount or some free goodies if you were to go and buy the product anyway.

For the same money in the jeep range youd be better looking at the cherokee, 2,8crd unit was mercadies, and for a big lump of car get really good mpg.

We currently get 34mpg, no matetr what were doing towing or loaded roof.

its on 90000miles now and appart from services all we have changed is a prop shaft and a diff(that we screwed up off roading) its fan only works on 4 but apparantly its an easy fix we just cant be bothered.
