domino, you really will like it when you’re over 40, in this world we live in ,where looks seem to matter more than personality, or the ability to string tow sentences together.

Oh no I’ve got too serious and after all it’s Friday

Just in case you’re not a looker, you’re not doing too well with the punctuation and spelling in your tow/two sentences there so you might want to work on that

ps, on the sore back thing, i never noticed a difference going from 5.5″ travel at the back to zero, my thighs after the first few rides though were murdered because of all the standing!

the most i’ve managed was about 35 too, i can’t imagine even doing it every night that i could reach 100 within two weeks but could be worth a try, on the pull-ups, the most i’ve ever done with those was 10, those are **** hard.

vortex, good to hear you finally got out on it, its taken a while! Just find some steeper stuff to ride and the slackness will go away, mine feels great at 140 but i’d like the option to go bigger on the downhills.

Its better than not having them, i don’t find the polarization as effective as a pair of Smith polarized glasses i used to have, maybe that was because they had a darker tint though.

Well, I’ll chip in, I live in Burnaby and took a long weekend out to the rockies, was 4 days of straight driving but so worth it. Reckon it would have been more of a pain to fly though. You’ll need a day to do the icefield parkway in each direction.

Flickr album of our trip here.[/url]

I would thoroughly recommend the Emerald Lake Lodge which is in BC (just) about 30-40 mins from the south end of the icefield parkway. We were driving mostly so had just short stops to see some of the features and lakes. Peyto lake is a must, Athabasca falls is another easy stop, there are a few more lakes and stuff and the big glacier (can’t remember the name)

Whatever you do you’ll have an awesome time.

Just ask if i can help any further.

thats terrible giving that to a 5.8 year old, thats like the first shot of heroin, she’ll now want nothing but pizza for every dinner and by the time she’s 9.6 will be the size of a house and you’ll have to have your doorways widened! shocking!

I swapped all the parts off my 06 enduro onto a dialled alpine, i think i’ll be keeping the alpine for a long time as my do just about everything bike, but i think i’ll buy a big bike (7 or 8 inches) at some point in the next year for bike parks and stuff.

I think its very much a uk thing too, the gangs of youths on the street corner type thing that is. I can’t really say i’ve noticed it in vancouver and surrounding area so much, there is some proper gang violence here but they keep to themselves, i’ve very rarely seen any menacing looking kids loitering anywhere.

I watched a film called Eden Lake the other day, about a couple out camping in the country side when some chavs decide to harass them a bit, the guy asks them to leave off and it all goes horribly wrong and the couple end up dead. It seemed so far fetched but at the same time your watching it thinking this sort of thing does happen at times.

While i probably wouldn’t square up to any of these little thugs on the off chance they are carrying something I say well done to anyone that teaches them a lesson.

Its just a word these days and nobody calling someone a mong is really meaning it as an insult to those with learning difficulties.
