I actually did buy the scales to weigh all my components as they were being transferred over to the new frame. I wanted to know what each part weighed so that when it comes time to upgrade I know what effect the upgrade will have. I'm not interest in my bike being super light but i don't want it to be a super pig either. Its actually went up about 2lbs since I first done it but might be taking my tires back down to 2.35's which should get it close to 30lbs again.
what length timer do you have as you look quite far away, i've tried it a few times without much luck as i only have a 10s timer.
These were self done but are stills from the HD video on my digi cam, slightly stylized because of the lack of sharpness in the video. First time posting pics from FB so hopefully you can see them.
**** me, that must be some flat, where abouts you moving?
this will be no use to you just now but i have two paypal accounts, one linked to my account in the uk and one to my account in canada, works well for hassle free transfers.
I rarely use my phone, but it makes a great mp3 player and gps and occasional internet device, oh and it also makes phone calls for the odd time i feel the need to make a call 🙂 beats having multiple gadgets.
Was thinking of sticking 140mm forks on, would this work well or would i be better with something like 120-160 adjustable.
I had 140 pikes with uturn on my alpine and never used the uturn, now have domains with no travel adjust and it still climbs well, so in other words 140 will be nice, 160 would also be very nice, depends what your using it for.
I quite fancied one, but not sure about the short version which i think is all you can get now, the top tube is even shorter the my dialled alpine and that felt quite short at first, god knows why there is no ISCG tabs on there either.
looks a good price to me, love one but no spare cash, me i ride hard on my carbon ibis but dont go crashing it so mine will last forever, can never understand why things have to be trashed
Sometimes you don't get the option not to trash a frame in a crash, but that goes for any material, i quite fancy a carbon 456 but don't think i could bring myself to swap the alpine for it, and I also fancy getting back on a full suss so probably won't get one any time soon. Cracking price though.
this isn't related to it being drier and dustier recently rather than a change of forks is it, hence maybe loose gravel rather than sticky mud, what tyres you running?
Burnaby BC, I can see part of our office building which kinda loops around in front of me, clear blue skys above the building, it looks warm, my bike is sitting next to me at my desk and i don't leave for another 2 hours 👿
