I have a toshiba netbook with 1.6 processor, 1GB ram, W7 starter, it runs just fine, generally just have google chrome open but use it occasionally with office 2010 and that works just fine too, cost $334CAD, i'm quite happy with it.

ps. my main computer is an iMac so i was ready to hate it 🙂

as we all know nothing is ever constant in the MTB world, so i can never say for sure that Ti would do something the CF wouldn't. But for me the Ti would likely take heavy impacts better, and whilst i realise Ti is quite brittle as a metal Ti would bend rather than just give way, like i have seen CF do. I am sure some people have seen Ti give way, though i would say that is very rare.

Does the ti frame come with a book on carbon fiber myths to reassure you in your purchase?

I just started hating paypal too, sold my old mobile phone, guy pays for it, and paypal decide to hold the money, I see there is a thread on here about this new (to me) paypal policy (I haven't used ebay much the last few years) I would probably get the money but they can go **** themselves, cancelled the sale and refunded the buyer, not using ebay anymore.

as someone who has an iMac at home, I went with the galaxy and haven't been disappointed, all me email and calendar stuff is through google and it all syncs really well, played with them both in the shop side by side and going back to the iphone screen it felt cramped in comparison.

Went from an Spesh Enduro to Dialled Alpine, didn't regret it one bit and still don't, its an awesome bike with big forks and 2.5 tires, however i'm now looking to replace the alpine with a 7" full suss, riding a lot rougher more technical terrain these days than i was when i bought it, its still rideable on the hardtail but its beating the shit out of me on a regular basis.

just go to dropbox.com, and install it on all the machines you use, it appears on your desktop as a regular folder, stuff is stored locally but also online, so if i save a file in my dropbox folder on work computer, it saves locally and online, when i stick my computer on at home it will sync up with the online version and the files is there, very cool.

i've just ditched my USB stick for dropbox, great for working on stuff at work and home, 2GB account is free, files are stored locally on each computer you use it with but sync up every time you connect to the net, very cool.

I'm just a bit gutted that after all that time together in what i believed to be my favorite relationship so far, she did'nt want to speak to me face to face.

just picked up a galaxy S and the screen really is the bollocks. I had been waiting for the iphone 4 but then seen the galaxy S and it looked interesting, hadn't used android until i went to the shop. I played with both right next to each other in the shop for half an hour yesterday and after spending even a small bit of time on the galaxy the iphone screen looked very cramped. The iphone one is very slightly sharper. So far very impressed came out the shop and logged into gmail and facebook and there you go, contacts and calender all synced right there, might be able to do this with the iphone but i was impressed.

six hours of whistler XC, it was very f#$%%^ng difficult but more because of crap fitness rather than the bike 🙂
