Speaking as an Android fan, I’ve yet to see an Android tablet to beat the iPad.

Speaking as a bitter ex-Samsung Galaxy owner, Samsung make some lovely hardware but their support is non-existent.

I’ve not seen the new tablet you’re describing, but for these reasons, I’m oot.

This, I like android and seriously considered all the available tablets, wouldn’t trust samsung again after the fiasco with updates for the galaxy S, motorolla xooms are having the same issue with updates where US are google experience devices and rest of the world are not and are still waiting for updates. Asus and Acer seem to be doing better with pretty much worldwide roll outs of updates and sooner than the big guys, then you get to android and the market place has almost no apps for tablets and they are difficult to find. I bought an iPad 2 a few weeks ago and am very happy with it. the only sites i watch videos on are NSMB and Pinkbike and they all work on iPad so i’m happy 🙂

It consistently gives me 13.1km around Cwmcarn. Although I have noticed its not very good with altitude where I live – but thats the GPS receiver itself not endomondo.

which is why I wished they would include elevation correction, which motionbased (now garmin connect) does. think it uses googles terrain mapping which is pretty spot on.

the official figures assume you drive like miss daisy, if you have any inclination to use the accelerator you can expect probably something like what you’re getting.

surely, you’ve done some research, not to hard to find what trails are out there, if you feel like punishing yourself do this http://www.imba.com/epics/comfortably-numb but there are tons of great trails in the whistler valley as well as nearby places mentioned above plus come down and ride the shore for a day.

You’re over thinking this, sounds like you have an opportunity to put some of the wrongs to right, although probably limited by the amount of money the oil companies want to spend on putting it right. By not taking the job is that going to solve the problem of polluted rivers? No, they will just employ someone who maybe cares a little less than you do. I would take it, you can always look for other jobs later if its not working out.

Been in Vancouver for 3.5 years, I transferred to a sister company on a temp work permit which was very straight forward and took about a month, had that extended for two years back in January and just going through the permanent residency process now which i’m applying for under Canadian experience class, should take about 10 months. I just had to take an English test to prove i can speak, read, write and listen in English despite being from the UK!

I love it here, however my ex-fiancee who came over with me didn’t settle and moved home after a couple of years, I couldn’t go back to the UK though. It def takes a lot of effort to settle somewhere where you’re starting from scratch, biking is great for making new friends though.

they are decent, LSC works well makes my bullit go from super bob single pivot to no bob single pivot for seated climbing seated, i still prefer a fair bit of LSC when descending so pretty much leave it half way and it offers a good compromise up and down.

He’s going from strength to strength so he’s clearly doing something correct or his business would have folded by now.

are you using a proper star nut and top cap or one of these other expanding wedge devices? I had a problem with one of those fixed by going back to a star-nut.

sportypal will work best if you stick it in your backpack (or leave it on your desk or in your car) and run around or cycle a lot, it doesn’t matter if the app is running or not at the same time.

they should provide the maps in app form with gps location shown… not that its that hard to navigate a trail centre.
