Thanks folks. What are the main differences I’d notice?

faster, higher res screen, better camera, maybe more memory, less curvy edges…

I did exactly the same over 4 years ago, transfer within the company, the work visa only takes about a month to come through after I sent the fee, forms, letter from company, etc away. It is supposed to be easier when its an internal transfer. My company helped here and just sent me a package of stuff to mail off. My initial work visa was for 3 years, renewed that for another 2 and going through the permanent residency thing now, it supposed to take about a year to process.

Thought of pivot tables but couldnt get 1-10 in the 65k columns

what do you mean couldnt get it in?

    rs

don’t know if this would work but if you add a column and in that column you put number 1 to 10 or 1 to 9, repeating over and over, you could then use pivot tables to extract just the rows with 1’s I think… maybe…

Heathrow airport is bulding a temporary departure/arrival lounge,at huge cost
So they are building extra facilities to accommodate extra passengers – presumably these passengers are paying fares? And hence will bring in more money?

If it is like vancouver 2010, they built a temporary terminal but that was more for the purposes of handling the extra baggage that comes with the athletes and all the tv crews, etc. there the temp terminal was used the day after closing only.

I was similar, had a dialled alpine around 30ish lbs at first, ended up about 33lbs with bigger forks, wheels, etc and it was much more confidence inspiring on the downhills with the heavier kit, depends what you’re riding i guess.

How many top-end downhill racers are on 45lb bikes?

sorry, didn’t realise top-end downhill racers used 6lb steel frames… correction then… if riding a hardtail predominantly downhill for fun, a light bike is not important… :P

if your riding is primarily downhill a light bike is not important, the heavier bike will probably feel better, more solid, etc, etc blah blah!

So far it has lived up to the hype from a photographic point of view, but the narration and music is awful and really detracts from what could, and should, be a really good programme.

    life cycles with birds then?

I can’t believe anyone that had the original galaxy s actually upgraded to the S2, I’ll never have another Samsung phone after using that thing. I’m sure its much better and they wouldn’t make the same mistakes but there will still be the same headaches with updates to the OS.

i like my thick grips and i just have regular size hands. Bought a new bike with thin grips on and had to buy new thick ones again as my hands were hurting. I guess everyone is different.

why? where ws eh need to use force? what justification for force?

it was where the words used by the conductor were not sufficient to remove the nice young man.

    rs

IMO, no punches were thrown, there was no intent to physically harm, he was just trying to help the young chap off the train and the he tripped or wasn’t very stable on his feet due to being pissed…

I just tried out my new board at the weekend, just a basic ride agenda but the flat to rocker base makes a huge difference to stability compared with my older conventional camber board, never once felt like catching an edge, makes snowboarding so much more fun :)

To be honest at that size my cell phone could take similar pics, I would have been interested to see how the supposedly fast lens manages with bike pic in the woods.

    Cool calculator

Approx 1987, Age 10, ZX Spectrum +3, $249, equivalent value now is $491
    Approx 1990, Age 13, Commodore Amiga A500, approx $370, equivalent now $588

400 for an iPad is a bloody bargain by comparison.

    * excuse the dollar signs, keyboard doesn’t have pound!
