Thanks yes it is tange prestige full XT, i bought it relatively recently from a guy on retrobike as always loved that years Marins as my dad had the Pine Mountain from that year. It really is a great bike and completely original as far as i can tell.

my 1988 Marin Team Marin is my current favourite if needing a geared bike.

i think its about 10 days

its like stepping back in time to the middle ages. its fascinating but a little seedy and possibly not a romantic relaxing break. the markets and lanes are amazing and the square is very atmospheric at sunset. Some nice rooftop bar/cafes around edges of square. BUT you get seriously hassled and ripped off at every turn and there is a high likelyhood your partner will get groped.

yeah i’m a bit loath to get a new player when all the ones i have bought play fine. Man! it seems a bit redundant most of the time sending replacements when you have already watched a good chunk of the film before it is ruined i mean do you watch the whole film again or just the bits you’ve missed??!!

perhaps it is my Sony player that is sensitive to it then. it does seem to happen more often than not.

not sure of the model but its a sony home cinema thing (has a sloping front edge, silver) about 5 years old i guess.

so is there a likelyhood it is our dvd player, even though purchased discs are fine, or have we just been unlucky with the dodgey discs? we had 2 this weekend that had the same problem and taking them out and cleaning them has made no difference.

yes, some high proirity films have been on are list since we joined them and we seem to get a lot of low priority early steve martin films in their place!!
