I think the frame its self looks very nice i’m just not keen on the graphics however for another £40 I’ll get it powdercoated however I like.

Would a medium be too small for me at 6ft?

I had a pitch a while back but sold it as it got too small, i’ve since had a stumpy and i’m now on a Mojo HD. They’re all similar in travel but all very different bikes. That said i’d have a pitch back any day

Bit harsh to be linking cracked frames when this guy has just spent decent money on a new bike and is excited don’t you think? My mate has a zesty and my brother has a spicy both the same age as yours. Sorted bikes

I don’t get out much but even on 1×10 I rode up all day, about 5 runs. The initial climb from the centre is steep and loose but it levels out and if you take the fire road it’s fine, quite long though. I’d reccomend doing the first sections of all the tracks a few times before doing full runs or the lower section so you dont have to keep climbing the steep first bit and thats the most energy sapping. When you reach the first fire road crossing go left along it and you’ll be back on the climb

I lost my cousin the same way just over a year ago, the pain in my uncle’s eyes is still there and no-one knew why he didn’t ask for help in our close family. The memories will never fade and in my heart i’ve found peace hoping he’s happier now.

If i’m meeting someone away from the house I usually aim to get their a bit early so I can note their car/reg when they arrive. Let them check it over then count the cash while they have a spin.

Not the mojo my hardtail, I don’t keep the Mojo with me now since my hardtail got stolen (student). Might potentially look at hiring a surfboard but the nearest wave is a decent way away and I dont have a car. Hiring a bike at a trail centre is a good shout, i’ll look at trains

My MojoHD comes in at 31.6 with flow ex, 1×10, reverb and 36 and thats a carbon frame

I did wonder about a Solaris with a 100/140mm fork, I’m 6ft so im pretty sure I can make a 29er ‘work’. Looks like i’ll need to demo a few bikes however i’ll be building it from a second hand frame and most places want you to put £50ish down to demo.

Lenses are nothing special, just two from a standard EOS. Would a Nikon D5100 be up to much?

I’m not really a fan of compact system cameras, I’m looking for something with a load of settings I can play with really which is why I like the idea of a DSLR. I have a Nikon S8000 for quick shots and day to day stuff
