iPhone – will change the way you use a mobile. Yes, the battery is pap, and the camera could be better, but after 18 months I still love mine and can't imagine changing. Plus, if you wait till June there will be a major update.
Haze – do like the look of the uno but loving the handle bars on the plug.
Steve – buying via ride to work so have to avoid ebay. Good to hear that yours is a solid bike; shame they no longer do the frame in that colour – looks cool.
I've just bought a Canon G11 and am really happy with it. Depends how involved you want to be – the G11 and GF1 allow you to muck about with ISO, shutter speed etc, but also take great 'auto' shots.
br – I totally disagree – the lady turned away paying customers based on their sexuality, and deserves to be investigated for blatant homophobia. It's 2010 FFS.
I experienced this recently and when i looked on the usual forums there didn't seem to be any solution, it seemed to be a 'quirk'. Like z1ppy i use handbrake and never had a problem up until a few months back, so the cynical part of me thinks it's an Apple ploy to discourage ripping.
If you have one near by UNI-QLO do amazingly good, plain, and well made jeans for about £15-£20.
Otherwise Levi's are best IMHO. 504 are pretty normal i think.
Ha ha. The goal is turn two more friends into casual bike geeks, so hopefully Swinley will provide enough of a hook. Thanks for the chilterns shout too – definitely one to do in the future.
Stanfree – same happened to me (my bike was also about 5 months old) and it was covered by the warranty according to Evans. I was expecting a repair bill but they happily replaced the part and fixed it free of charge.
