How much was the paint job on a modern day bike again? Reckon my Chameleon would look ace in that coat!

Also i did this one a few days ago. I had to ride one handed as (as yet) i havent found a way to mount my I Pod to myself or my bike effectively.
Anyone have any ideas on this???

Anyway, riding one handed on snow and ice is a bit dodgy! But i was pleased with this- especially as i was only playing!!

Done this a year or so ago at Penshurst. I used my video function on my Fuji compact and a dog cam helmet cam (a few years old so it’s not top dollar).

Hi Phil- nope not smoking it (might be fun to try!!) and im definately not injecting it, and im not using it as a substitute for deodorant either. I think my wife would have issues with that!
I just have to smell it once a week and im happy……

Just ventured out to the shed- i agree GT85 does definately smell the bestest!

Always thought it was a no-no to use WD40 on a bike as it destroyed grease (like in headsets etc)?

You are right of course, but WD or GT is great for shining up your frame!!

Playing out in the woods with my mates- it was a bit warmer, well it WAS above freezing!

Love mine, i’ve had one since 1996- this one since 2004 (i broke the headtube on the other one)- it does everything and takes some serious stick!
I only broke my first one cos i did trials in the street on it- and it finally died on a 6foot drop.
I can do Welsh trail centres on it, all day XC rides- all i need to do is put skinnier tyres on, swap the flatties for spuds and whip the short stem off and stick a longer one on there.
I do downhill on it (albeit slower than the full sus boys), and dirt jumping too.
I do have an Intense Spider too which i keep for the XC stuff, but sometimes i just get the Chameleon out for the XC stuff because its just so much fun!

The North already has nukes (tested in 2006) and according to Wikileaks they’ve been supplying long range ballistic missiles to Iran capable of reaching European cities. Couple that with Pakistan’s not exactly top secret nuclear facilities (that any nut case could walk into and pick up radioactive material), then it all looks a bit bleak dosent it?
I reckon North Korea v South Korea could pick up all sorts of trouble, especially as the US already seems to be involved. Every American president has to have their war dont they- Obama hasnt had one yet!

More worrying is Israel and the rest of the Middle East wanting rid of Iran- and they are a bit unhinged arent they?

Id like farmers to be made to put up warning signs- i ride a motorcycle, and road tyres dont stick to shit all that well.
Ive been riding mountain bikes long enough to know that you have to expect the unexpected on country roads, so its not always a problem for me. Not all road users have mountain bike experience though, so they'll boot it as soon as they pass their test! And they wont neccesarily know what happens when shit hits the …er….tyres.

Maybe an Intense Spider is like an Alpha Romeo- noise gives it 'character'.

Hope Xc hubs- untouched and used every week since 2001.
Specialized BG comp saddle- every kind of weather condition and comfy as ever since 2001. Crashed a number of times and not damaged!
Shimano XT rear mech and shifters- reliable since 2003.
Endura Hummvee shorts- nothing else will do.
RaceFace aquanot jacket- kept me dry since 2001!!!!! Died on a downhill run last month- im gutted.
Specialized bg comp spd shoes- fits like a glove and takes a hell of a beating since 2001.
Shimano deore spd pedals- never needed servicing, never gone wrong, never noticed them- they just work! Since…….. er forever.
Shimano neoprene overshoes- cheap(ish), bombproof and have kept my feet in my summer shoes warm and dry through 10 winters!

Oh, and Chris King headset- the only headset you will ever need! Just find the £100 for it, you'll not regret it.

Thank god- my frame definatly isnt cracked, and ive checked everything else.
Zone- it creaks both stood on the cranks and when pushing down on the saddle.

Thanks for the info! I was going to give it a go- i tried the 5w with the 15w, and im getting about an hour on the 15w (hour and half on the 5w). So yeah youre right- a 25w bulb would kill the battery, i might give it a go anyway as the bulb costs £2!

I think they (Isreal AND Iran) all neeed to ride mountainbikes- its much more fun than war. Perhaps they could sort out their differences with a race or two????
