IMO Casey Stoner is the man to beat next year. He was super fast the first time out on the Honda.

Has to be Stoner on the Honda this season

Hopefully a four way battle between the ‘aliens’- with Rossi, Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa.
Im hoping Pedrosa wont bin it and wreck his season like he normally does.
And i also think Ben Spies will become the 5th ‘alien’.

Alien is the term that the Eurosport guys gave to the top riders who are above mere mortals!

Oh bugger, i forgot my fake Italian accent- never mind!

Drowning worms and taking photos of overgrown goldfish

    Nice Carp!

Fishing,Motorcycling, but mostly the ‘push bike’. It’s free!

Getting fishing gear in a rucksack so i can ride to the lake is the best of both worlds!

Now if only boy racers today had somewhere like that to go to rather than Asda car parks

They do- it’s called Bluewater. (After closing of course  )

How about using a hinkley bonneville engine / frame?

Thats lovely that bike- saw it on Cafe Racer on Discovery.
Doubt id find one of those for my measly budget. Something somehow also drew me to a Kawasaki Mach 3- not sure if thats up to it though. And pretty rare aswell.

Heres my previous bike- a CB400 Superfour.
Just wondering for the purists out there, how would this go down as a cafe racer modification? It’d be a more modern version of the CB450.
Having ridden around on it for a few years, i reckon it’d be pretty good- it handled really well and with a bit of a tune i think it’d be sweet. Certainly would be reliable! Sold it for £900, so i reckon i could pick up a munter for £500 or less.

The thing is you probably can buy cheap fags on the Woolwich ferry.

Spot on- although mostly theyre roll ups, and they smell a bit funny when people smoke em. Jamaican Woodbines maybe?

I just opened my freezer and saw a little alien having a ****. I said, “What the hell are you doing?” He said, “I cum in peas”.

I used to work in my local bike shop- we had a work experience lad one summer holiday. He was from out in the sticks.
We told him that he could get duty free on the Woolwich Ferry, but that he’d only have 5 minutes as they could only sell it while the boat was crossing the Thames. His face lit up.
Next day he came in looking very disappointed. Bastards he said- i was going to get my dad some cheap fags!

    Oh how we laughed!!!!!

    Thanks for the input everybody!

I wont be starting such a project till i can get a house with a garden, a balcony has limited space  and dont worry, i wont be riding anything unless its safe- i’ll pay someone to weld my mistakes if they’re crap!! LOL

Zed- that Bonnie project is right up my street, i can learn lots from that kinda thing!

The Honda CB is indeed expensive these days, i want to bring a bike back from death row and ride it- so im looking at a variety of stuff. Any suggestions for donor bikes?
I’d love a Triton- hey gotta dream!

Basically, whatever i can find dumped unloved in a breakers yard….

Ive no idea but ive heard MIG is best to start with, but that TIG is best for fine work.
I’ll be working with steel mainly, but there will probably be some aluminium somewhere along the way. Especially the fuel tank.

The metal will of course be prepped before welding

Im aiming for something like this:

    Prince TT @ Amazon

Bloody hell- you cant say no to that!

You can get a pretty good Calton graphite one for around £30, my one is now my spare because i got a Prince TT Carbon one for £35 (reduced from £80!) in a sale in my local sports shop.
My Calton one came from Decathlon. Try also Amazon, or Sports Direct and always look in your local shop they may just have a sale at this time if year!
Avoid the temptation to buy a ‘bargain’ steel one for a tenner as your arms will fall off when playing- save up and aim for £40, you might get some change for a pint!

I ride a motorcycle to work and back daily- a journey i couldnt do unless i took a couple of trains and half a days travelling. On the bike it’s 45 minutes each way, and i can (carefully) go down the middle of the traffic :D.
    Why would i change that??
Anyways, three years or so ago i could fill er up for £8. Now it costs nearly £15 for the same full tank.

    Disgusting!

My friend rode a singlespeed there, i thought we’d have to call out the air ambulance- get some gears on there!

    Is your friend weak?

Yes he is- a bit tubby too.

Heres me doing a trackday at Brands Hatch in October.
Need to do some mechanical fiddling before i go ride it again, the ignition is less than reliable. Gorgeous to ride and own otherwise and only £110 fully comp!

Might i add my own pikey opinion?

Primark….no wait….. Primark do a great pair of jeans for £12, they’ve lasted 2 years of abuse and washing, the pockets are fine even with my jailers set of keys in em and best of all they’re comfy as a pair of Levi’s!
They do a pair for £8 as well which i bought for riding my DJ bike in. They’ve survived dozens of spills.

Of course if you have to have a label, just visit your local car boot sale and bag some Levi’s or a Ben Sherman shirt (whatever takes your fancy) for a tenner.

Allright then- heres my two pence worth.
I think he has inherited a situation left by Bush and co, and has to do something with it. The American institution allways has to stick their oar in somewhere in the world- at the moment it seems to be Korea.
Obama is just the president- i reckon theres people behind the scenes with the real power to make decisions.

Maybe i’ve just watched the X Files too much!
