Piranha 3D – 3D remake of three fish in a bowlrossendalelemmingFree MemberIf they are going to go down a division or two in Scotland, why not use it as the opportunity to join the English league. They could replace one of the teams about to go bust down here.
In the past when both Glasgow clubs wanted to join the English league they wanted to go straight into the EPL as they would be giving up their Champions League places. Rangers are out of Europe until they sort themselves out so they may as well kill two birds with one stone. Assuming the English Leagues would want them and the vast amount of traveling fans.rossendalelemmingFree MemberI need to buy one more bottle, to go with the 5 already in the fridge. cappucino’s all weekend I think.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberThe idiet works.
I used to eat all the same food groups as you do. You won’t miss them.
I used it as an excuse to learn to cook meals (curry for one) from the raw ingredients. Playing with the spices, this has kept me interested in it.
I lost over 2 stone in a year and I now don’t do it as strict as I used to. I now have Friday night off (take away curry night)as well as Saturday (sandwhich for lunch, pasta for tea), and a cheeky Roast Spud with my Sunday tea. I’m maintaining my weight and if it does increase, due to Christmas excess, I just go strict again.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberA friends son has been asking for a dog for months. He wants a Labrador. It had just got to the point where his parents were about to cave in and get one, when he came in from school and announces that he no longer wants a Labrador. “Why?” asked his mother.
“I’ve noticed that they make the owners go blind!”
rossendalelemmingFree MemberDi Vinci Last Supper is in Milan.
Just don’t eat within site of the Doumo, €150 for 5 salads!
rossendalelemmingFree MemberJust done this, bought a Kia Sedona after the Audi A4 gave up the ghost. The kids love it, two at the very back and one in the middle = no more fighting over room. Or, all three on the back seat (they’ve still got room) and the Grandparents in the middle for epic days out. Kids are 8,10,16. Grandparents are in the 80’s 😉
rossendalelemmingFree MemberThe other issue is everything is being upskilled / requires a certificate/qualification to do it. You can’t become a labourer on a building site, you need a CSCS card. You can’t become a bouncer on a club/pub door you need a SIA card.
Admin job advertised locally, required you to have a good degree. No mention of typing skills, or office skills.rossendalelemmingFree MemberWhy do you think Connexions now run courses like “Expectations of the Work Place”?
Because those kids who messed around and got bugger all qualifications from school still think they are top dog. They’ve gone from being Cock of the school to the bottom of the ladder in one day. They still apply the law of the playground to their new employer. When asked to do a menial job, the correct answer is not “eff off”. When the MD politely points out that your day glow hot pants and bikini top aren’t suitable clothing for the receptionist (Front of shop) you don’t say “Who are you, mi Dad?”Spent the summer trying to fill 200 jobs using 2000 Connexions customers. Never work with Children or Animals! Never ever again.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI used Companiesmadesimple.com as a customer insisted I was a Limited Company before they would pay the bill, don’t know why. They also provide various services on top of the setting up.
Got screwed over by said customer and would like to find a Get-rid-of-your-company-made-simple.

Lost my job this time last year, documented on here. took a survival job that ment we were going under slowly. Quit that one and a month later started a “proper” job about the same money but without any of the perks. No company car which meant I had to buy a second hand car + insurance etc so i’m about £300/month down. Used to have a petrol card, now I have to pay for my fuel so thats another £300/month down. Because of the unemployed period and bills not getting paid, eveyone wants you to pay extra to make up the arrears. All those extra £50 soon mount up. The wife can’t even get a job as a cleaner – too qualified, she does have an interview next week which will pull us out of the hole.
So we’ve gone from being comfortable to bricking it in 12 months, what’s the next 12 months going to bring 🙂
rossendalelemmingFree MemberYou may want to look at the special school. A friend has a son with autism, same age as our son. Both went to the same main stream primary. When it got to the stage where he didn’t want to go to school they transferred him to the local special school. The improvement is unbelievable. He’s more independent, he goes away on school trips (for 3 or 4 days)he can ride his bike. It’s the things they don’t do in a mainstream school that have made a big difference, How to put on your coat, brush your teeth, organise yourself. The mainstream school was only interested in the 3 R’s. He now spends 1/2 of each day at a different Mainstream school and 1/2 the day at the special school.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberUse a proxy service based in the UK, loads of them around.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI thought this was going to be a thread on a new breakfast option 🙂
rossendalelemmingFree MemberSounds like the cambridge diet. Friend of the wife has done it (twice). The first time she lost a load of weight, about 4 stone. But she put it back on.
She’s recently done it again and has now moved over to the iDave diet, after seeing the results on Me and the the Mrs. Although she did complain that she’d put 1lb on in the first week of eating solids again!
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI used this a couple of weeks ago and it cloned the drives just fine.
EaseUS® Todo Backup Free
used version 2.5.1, but version 3 is now out. Just google it.
re: the post above. This one will increase the partition to fill the disk if you go from 80Gb to 300GB for example.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberOddjob, same here. I did mention it on the original thread. I think you/I need to up the water in take. I just usually drink a litre of smoothy on my day off and have a kebab 🙂
rossendalelemmingFree MemberThanks ArcticBeast.
Now lets see what the fuss is about 🙂
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI’d like to try this out if anyone has a spare one

rossendalelemmingFree MemberI’ve tried on and off for about 20 years to learn Italian. The two goes at night school were good. I’ve also got the “In Car Italian” CD’s that were given away by the Daily Express (I think) you can find them on ebay going cheap.
The best advice I can give is stick at it and go over there for a holiday, you will be amazed at how much you can understand after just a year at college.
I used to go to the local cafe and practice my Italian on the staff. The local students were itching to try their English out so we did a tit for tat.
By the end of the fortnight the locals in the bread shop were standing back to let me have a go at ordering.
Gutted i’m not going out there this year.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI’ve been doing this for a year and have lost 2.5 Stone, my wife’s lost 3 stone.
The wife spent the weekend going through some old recipe books, looking for some more variety to our meals, and discovered Gillian McKeiths “you are what you eat” contains loads of idave diet complient meals! 😯rossendalelemmingFree MemberI've just accepted a job paying 45% less than before, in a field i've never worked in before, just so i have a job. The company are very excited to have someone with my IT skills coming on board.
They are paying me the trainee rate because I know nothing about the role. If (read when) they start tapping into my IT skills, do I storm the boss's office and ask for more money as i'm not a trainee when it comes to IT!I'm bored of applying for jobs that would have been split between 2/3 people a couple of years ago and yet they are offering 70% of what one of those roles would have paid back then.
Like the OP, trying to explain you know the market it shot to peices and you're willing to give 100% even at the reduced pay rate to each and every Agent is soul destroying.rossendalelemmingFree MemberRe: is this worth ordering?
I think most of us are waiting for the product to be released and find somewhere to test it, My kids want it for Christmas. There are reports of "issues" with the product and it depends on whether those issues are a problem for you. My 6 year old bouncing round the room isn't going to notice Xms of lag. but some hard core teenager might complain if the system doesn't respond "exactly" when he does. Other reported problems include you must wear tight fitting clothing, people who are too thin (scrap the iDave diet) aren't being picked up by the camera. Have a look on youtube etc to see some demos of the product, it's a good excuss to watch scantily clad ladies bouncing around.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberWell i lost a stone in 4 -5 weeks and i'm sticking with it. i'm now finding i'm having to go out of my way to eat something on the "band" list on my off day. Although the sugar and milk in my coffee on a Saturday morning is bliss.
I've also discovered ASDA's "make" more veg than just carrots and peas 🙂
The rest of the office, who doubted the plan, are now trying it out. Two questions they have raised.
1. is cous cous allowed (i've said no)?
2. can they have sweetener (in their porridge/coffee) again i've said no?Thanks for the plan iDave.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberMe to my kids in the run up to Christmas, every time the red light came on the alarm sensor.
"When the light comes on, the elves are checking to see if you're good"
It worked so well the rest of the family use it with their kids 🙂
Every time they got into a fight, they'd spin round to check to see if the light was on, and trigger the light – Genius!rossendalelemmingFree Memberyou can filter your ip address.
it explains it here. http://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66983#0.1.1_step8
But as the above post states, you need to have a static IP address for this to work. Alternatively use Dynamic DNS, and filter on a domain/sub domain.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberWe sell
snake oila Life Coaching Course and there is no regulation. We also punt it as "Take this course and you can run your own Life Coaching Business"rossendalelemmingFree MemberI had a Grand Senic for 4 years, Petrol bottom of the range version and it was ok. The two pop up seats in the back were very small. Once i'd gone over 100,000 miles it started to fall apart, costing an average of £200/week for 3 months before i could get rid. Some of the issues are now covered by a call back – The electronic dashboard packing in (No Speedo etc), Electronic handbrake locking on.
I'm now on a VW Touran (Bottom of the range, see a theme forming). The pop up seats are huge, we easily fit adults in the back. 51,000 miles and it's still good. it's the diesel version and i'm getting 42mpg, even with my lead foot.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberLemming – I tend to go downhill with gay abandon! sometimes still attached to the bike.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberI'm an IT Manager (like 90% of everyone else on here )
Living in Rossendale.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberAnd now i've finally had the real "Your Job is under threat", although the Twot still hasn't given me the paperwork as his PA is on holiday. He had to rush it through yesterday so that I finish on 30th September.
But since the original date i started this thread i've been planning for it. My Wife quit her Master's course and has got a job she really likes. So i no longer have to find a job that covers all the bills, I can look for the best option out there.
Of course i'll be cacking it come the 29th September and i've still not found anything 🙂
rossendalelemmingFree MemberWE used to Chuckle at the Chinese lady next door taking her bucket (with rope tied to the handle) down to the little river at the end of the close to fill up and water her garden with. Now i've got my own veg patch, i will be asking to "Pass the Bucket".
We're all on Water Meters, she must have been laughing at us lot with our hose pipes and watering cans.
rossendalelemmingFree MemberJust Google Cheap Hotel Rome, i think i was using Easytobook and got 3 nights in Rome in August for £270 for 5 of us. Wife over ruled and we're now camping down there.
