    If you are using Outlook.

You could export your “sent Items” folder to a pst file. move that over to your Desktop and import them into Outlook on there.

The casting call for Episode 8 went out a few weeks ago. It lists the actors coming back. Doesn’t mean they didn’t die and it’s a flashback scene that they will be filming.

    potential MASSIVE SPOILERS

    Link to rumoured plot

They could be way off, but their basic plot idea fits with the trailer and teasers.

As for when the next movies are released. The idea is every two years, with a Star Wars Anthology film in between. So this year Episode 7 next year is Rogue One. Year after Episode 8.

There is a Blog with all the rumours compiled into a rough draft of the story. This trailer confirms a lot of what is in the leaks.

The guy (being tortured) is Poe.

He’s the ‘Han Solo’ type for the younger generation.

I noticed my Dad got old about 10 years ago (76 years old), when he couldn’t lift the bricks to help me build a wall. They were big bricks. He was the one everyone went to to get help on any project.
We got him home on Monday after 4 weeks in hospital for a fall, bent over and couldn’t get back up. He’s now bedridden. Picked up various infections while there. Now 86.
The Dr’s been today and said “It will be days rather than weeks”.

I still can’t mix my plaster right, hang wallpaper straight the first time, sort the dripping tap out. Colleges need to run a “lost your Dad” course.

He’s the last of his generation in our family and I’ve proudly changed his nappy this evening and hope to for weeks rather than days.

    Dads are awesome.

Virgin media. Phone + Broadband = £34.49/month (after the offer)

    Broadband on it’s own = £30.25/month

    a saving of £4.24

But then you have to buy a phone service, be it a Voip account or a Skype account. So my point is, if it’s a money saving scheme you might not achieve it. Unless Skype’s call charges are cheaper.

Not sure what you want to achieve as you can’t get rid of your landline as your internet comes down it.

If you mean SIP based Voip then you’ll need a service like Voip phone services[/url]to connect your voip phone to. Then just pick a sip voip phone like Voip Phone.

It’s possibly cheaper to get a Skype phone and sign up to their service to provide you with a real world number etc. Skype phone
I used to use a similar Skype phone and service to provide the business number and keep the landline for home use. The one phone handled both.

Get the Wii U. You have the bonus of most games can be switched to play on the Pad when someone wants to watch TV. Mario Maker is due out next week which will get your creative juices going. Splatoon is great, Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Super Mario WiiU, Smash Bros, Zelda Wind waker HD.

Grab a wiimote or two for multi player and to tap into the wii back catalogue.

I bought a PS4 and when my kids visit they are bored stiff. Not a lot of age appropriate games and Sony/MS seem to have abandoned local multiplayer.
I’ve ended up buying a WiiU so we can play together. I bought the basic model and added an external usb HD.

I’ve bought my last two 365 licences off ebay. Paid around £55 for Home Premium, which allows you to install it on up to 5 devices/PC/Tablet/Phone. So £11/year/device

I did it in two stages for my Son.
I started with the highest spec value system from Scan e.g. Scan V15i. for his Birthday in July. It runs games on reasonably high settings, graphics wise.
For Christmas I upgraded his Power Supply and bought an AMD R280x Graphics Card. Plus a load of case fans. It now runs everything at the highest settings.
It’s now coming up to two years old and it’s still playing new games on Ultra settings.

Get him set up with a Steam Account, and check the Humblebundle website for some fantastic offers on older games.

One of my PC’s updated using Windows Update, the other two I used this link.

    Manually run Windows 10 install

You can either choose to upgrade the current PC, or get it to download the ISO which you can then burn to a DVD and install on another PC.

who’s school was it that got sick of the ultra competitive Dad’s race and as the dad’s all lined up, in their running outfits complete with spikes, placed a skipping rope in front of each one?

That’s what dad’s races should be, wheel barrow, Sack race or similar.

Took our then 18 month old daughter to Florida, she was a bit under the weather before we went and the holiday/climate sorted her out.

They didn’t/don’t give under 2’s a seat on the plane, so she had to sit on my knee for the whole flight. The explosive Diarrhoea somewhere over the Atlantic was fun to deal with. She was fine, we’d packed spare clothes for her in the hand luggage. The brown smelly stain on my clothes wasn’t pleasant for everyone around me 🙂

Cathedral Cave is a nice one, with a big Wow factor. There was a thread on here last year (about this time) and it convinced me to go with the kids. I took some head torches and we exited through the mine.

    we followed this guide.

My Son has it. It’s the fine motor skills that he struggles with, shoelaces, using a knife and fork, handwriting.

I seemed to have spent a lot of time explaining the condition to teachers. My son can either write quickly, or write so that you can read it. The teacher needs to decide which they want 🙂

Went to watch the Avengers yesterday. Big green advert on the screen before the film started saying “Please help us go Green by leaving your rubbish behind. We will recycle it” or words to that effect.

It was a rolling advert, so check for it next time.

    Mystery solved.

    Felt weird leaving it behind.

I have this at work when setting new PC’s up. If I enter their email address (username) and password it fails. Connecting to Hosted Exchange, using Autodiscover.

Install Office 2010 Service Pack 1 and try again, it works first time for me.

My Son is similar, now aged 13.
Writing seems to cause him actual pain. We had him diagnosed years ago with dyspraxia. Any fine motor skills are difficult – shoelace tying etc.

one of the giveaway signs is that they write down the centre of the page, leaving huge 2″ margins. It might be worth investigating, he’ll then get extra time to complete exams etc.

WiiU for 3d Mario, Super Mario WiiU, Mario Kart, Lego City, Smash Bros WiiU (out next week)

Next year you’ve got Yoshi, Kirby and hopefully Zelda U.

Backwards compatible with wii, so a vast library of classic games. Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Original Rabbids game (any Rabbids game) Wii Sport,

For Dad you’ve got Zelda Windwaker HD, Bayonetta 1&2 (the only place to get 2) Hyrule Warriors. Tap into the Virtual Console and enjoy the old Snes games.

And the Amiibo figures are about to drain your spending money. If they release a pokemon game (a proper rpg one) that includes them, we are all screwed. “Gotta buy them all”

One more thing to consider with Office 365. If Office 2015 is released in January (my subscription ends in May) I automatically get the upgrade, so you are always on the latest version. Not always a good thing, but useful if MS change the file format and render Office 2010 incompatible.

I bought an Office 365 Home Premium code off ebay, which includes Publisher. £55 for 12 months for 5 devices (PC’s/ipads) plus each user gets 1TB one drive storage. Plus I think you get Skype call credit.

I know you don’t want to rent it, £11/device/year for “proper” Office is not bad.

If memory serves me right it was a couple of hundred pounds to buy outright for one machine.

I’ll rise to the bait, re the Windows phone.

In a household of idevices, wanna guess which phone works, whenever and where ever we are?
Apps! I have my banking app, my social media apps, MS Office (for free, as in create/edit documents), I have angry birds, my email for work (exchange server) is a huge improvement on the Android version that I don’t bother using my Samsung S4 works phone – I’d rather pay my bill when abroad. I’ve got Nokia sat nav with offline maps built in. Upgradable storage, how’s that 16,32,64GB working out for you? No point having all the apps in the world, if you’ve nowhere to put them.

    and

    to top it all

    we’re getting

    Cortana…..

    😀

In all seriousness, my next phone will be a Windows phone. It’s the first time in a long time that I will have stuck with the previous OS. I did iphone/android/windows. in fact the one app I was missing arrived today – remote desktop 🙂

I’m going for Not guilty for the Death, but they’ll send him down on the firearm’s offenses. Illegal Bullet’s and firing his gun in public.

A bit like Al Capone, they can’t send him down for Murder, but they can on a different charge altogether.

I’m in Rossendale, and I work in Eccles. It takes 45 minutes during rush hour to get there, avoiding the M60.

The M60 to the North of Manchester is about to become a nightmare for the next 3 years as they turn it into a Smart Motorway.

Can’t fault the area, surrounded by hills and you are in easy reach of most places in Lancashire.

    How about an alternative….
My wife did a “full time” degree in Psychology, which consisted of 2 evenings a week at the local college. Which allowed her to carry on working. Liverpool Hope Uni were delivering the course, the lecturers used to drive over and teach out of the college facilities. The scheme was something like “Hope in the community”. You could also do the course part time, one evening a week. The benefit was she got a student loan to pay for that years holiday 🙂

The downside was because one module was not completed on Hope’s campus, the BPS wouldn’t accredit the course. As it turned out my wife did that module on Hope’s campus but she still couldn’t get it approved that way. If you want to do anything in the real world with a psychology degree, make sure it’s BPS accredited.

I briefly worked with 12 month+ unemployed, the forerunner to the Work Programme. I had one customer who amazed me, he had been a teacher for many years and quit. All the jobs centre and other agencies wanted him to do was go back into teaching. He was collecting his £65/wk while trying to find a job, yet in the evenings he went out and helped the homeless – worked in soup kitchens etc. He was one rung up the ladder from the people he was helping. I racked my brains and got him a work placement (work for free) with a homeless shelter. Within the week they were on the phone asking if they could hire him. As I was leaving the job and handing over my clients to the new lady, he walked in. “Oh no” said the lady, “he’s not one of yours is he?” “he won’t go back into teaching and I couldn’t do anything with him at the other agency”. With a big smile I told her “he’s signing off, he’s got a job doing what he’s passionate about”

The big grin on his face still makes me smile.

At a school my wife worked at, they sent out a similar letter. The reason behind it was one of the children had some sort of protection order on them.

They should just ask the child to wear a black rectangle over their eyes 🙂
