There is skill to laying up carbon fibre, the direction of weave makes a lot of difference to the ride properties.
Assuming that’s true, that’s a design skill, not a manufacture skill.
The laying up process is essentially skilless. CNC laser cuts out the pre-preg, worker gets given a bunch of different shaped bits to stick on mold.

Sorry got to take issue with you there, laying up carbon fibre is far from skilless as the huge humber of busted cheap bike frames can attest. Carbon itself comes in various qualities, should it be wet laminated, used as pre preg, used with another fibre to ensure no inter fibre friction, laying it up around corners is difficult, should it be autoclaved? Lots and lots of decisions to take in approaching carbon fabrication and that’s not even in the bike game. All I know there’s a boat building place down Southampton way that earns an awful lot from repairing badly built bike frames and he rolls his eyes every time he gets another in.

Well, if I must, but it still wont change the fact that there is nowhere called Bongo bongo land so logic dictates no one who could be offended, perhaps had he said bunga bunga land and potentially upset a bunch of italians, the ‘offended left’ would not be running around waving their hands in the air screaming racist as normal even though technically it would be.

The other point missed in all this, is that it is exactly what that new Tory election waller was accused of setting out to do, ironic it happened fairly shortly after.

If they’d thought it through a bit, rather than the knee jerk reaction it is, they could have changed the law to make it compulsory to license dog ownership and the fee geared toward ‘risk’ factor of the dog, same as they should license child birth, stop paying the chavs more benefit the more kids they breed, do it the other way round, a) charge them to breed and b)charge them more, the more they breed.

We’ve run macs at work for ever, never had that, we can get spinning beach ball, usually if we’ve upgraded the OS without adding ram, but other than that, nothing much really, had to send a refurb back to be er refurbed, Macs are reliable, always have been. We’re running mac mini’s even have a mac mini server to replace a couple of ageing Xserves, thoroughly reliable.
