you don’t need the userid/password. It’s embedded into the sky router. They don’t provide you with that information so that you use the router they have provided. This reduces their support overheads.

If you use a different router than the one provided you are breaking their terms and conditions.

    😀

speak to an whole of book(?) independant advisor who will be able to find you the best mortgage deal (they shouldn’t charge for the service as they’ll get commission from the lender). Ours got us a cracking deal with Standard Life, which is 0.36% above BOE base.

would probably be about 1985/6. My first bike was an ‘orrid Apollo from Halfrauds, with ‘Oversized Tubing’ hmmm, oversized, and heavy, hi-tensile steel frame, 15 gears and some sort of suspension forks.

Second bike (after the first one got nicked) was a Shogun Trailbreaker with STX-RC bits and rigid forks.

Third Bike was a Giant Boulder Alu-shock, 21 gears, suntour forks, bought in 1999.

Current bike, Orange G2, got last year.

So at the moment i’m averaging about 8 years per change of bike. (if you count the first two as one bike!)

How many people on here have loans, other than for your house?

We are all guilty im afraid, some more than other of course!

None at all. We only spend what we can afford, and have saved for.

I must admit, flats are looking like a good option.

I went out last night and halfway round the ride, one of my cleats wouldn’t disengage.

I ended up having to rip my shoe off the pedal, which left me clipped in on the left and free on the right, my shin took a right pounding!

We get so ripped off for things

It’s so true. LiDLs prove that stuff needunt be so spensive. Those SPD shoes I bought last year are every bit as good as loads of other ones costing 3-4 times as much. They cost me £15.

    LiDLs rocks!

I agree, mine are great.. Looks like they’ve gone up in price though… £18 extortionate!

yep, i’m glad to be rid of BT too. Switched to SKY for telephones and line rental. BT kept on trying to bill us, but the DD had been cancelled. They owed us £60 credit on our account, but they wouldn’t pay it because we owed them money.. It took 3 months of shouting (initially calm discussions) at people for them to UNDERSTAND that we owed them nothing and they owed us money..

They eventually admitted that they owed us money, but they wouldn’t pay it until we’d paid what we owed them..

So, again, a period of conversations explaining to them that we owed nothing, our account was closed and they owed us money. They did pay up eventually, but what a bunch of monkeys.

they’re cateye rc-230s which are plastic bodied… designed for mr11 bulbs, so I figured that I could make up something to fit the led drop-in module into the body housing.

TJ I agree about the soldering.. Wouldn’t the cool air passing over cool them enough?

I’m happy with 10w equivalent output as the Cateye’s only produce 10w per lamp. The LED conversion is purely to get extended run time for similar (if slightly whiter) output.

I’d found this page[/url] with a conversion but was looking for a slightly easier mod.

cheers, it is the 11836, 1-mode R2 that I was looking at. Will check out their forums for the results.

Update : According to the forum, from 6.5v upwards the drop-in is producing it’s max light output, so with a 7.2v source they should be a good option.

cheers snaps, the only other question I have is if they have a range of input voltages, does that affect their output brightness?

A lot of my exercises, given to me by my Physio, were to build up my core muscles. Also things like when sitting in the car, or at a desk, keep knees and waist/hips at 90 degrees.

They do work, but you have to keep at it or the sciatica will creep back.

The Royal Mail have just launched a new product called RedTag, it’s effectively a track and trace product, which eventually will have posties carrying gps enabled PDA’s. When the letter/parcel is delivered at the address the system is updated automatically.

People sending post will be able to see where abouts in the system their post is. Currently it’s only up to the local depot and the HHTs will be introduced next year.

I believe it’s positioned between special delivery and registered/signed for…

If it’s mad F1 cars you’re after, then look no further than the Bonkers-ness of the turbo-engined Brabham BT54’s. Turbo charged 1500cc BMW 4 cylinder Production line engine blocks, the older the better, Luftwaffe era fuel to stop the detonation problems, and 1400hp in qualifying trim. Piquet said that there were no niceties like racing lines, you tip toe’d round the corner, floored it on the straights, it wasn’t driving, it was hanging on for dear life…

Very much like the Group B rally cars of the same era..

the BT55 was a pretty car, such as shame that Elio de Angelis was killed testing one at Paul Ricard. (I think it was Paul Ricard – the long straight?)

I’m starting to like the look of the 2009 cars, they do have much cleaner lines.. The f+r wings may take a bit of getting used to..

BTW there are Rumours that Honda has a buyer and 5 sponsors lined up…
