“Another unusual feature of this pandemic was that it mostly killed young adults, with 99% of pandemic influenza deaths occurring in people under 65, and more than half in young adults 20 to 40 years old.”

‘kin yes, brilliant, happy happy day, die young people, never been so happy to have turned 40 – never mind the grey hair and wrinkles at least I will still be cycling and have a choice of some very tasty, cheap second hand kit :D

hmmm… well i live in the Peak District and see plenty of folks riding footpaths and trail bikes riding bridleways, landowners, park authorities and the RA are down grading green lanes and rrups and so it will knock on.

Got a Khayam, had others and would not go back.
Can put it up on my own in about 10 mins max, even in wind only takes 15 mins and a bit of care. The others were a nightmare.
Also you need to think about how it will fare when you have driven away and the wind hits it. Our old one was only hanging on by 1 peg 2 years ago when we got back to it. The Khayam suffered horrendous weather in Ireland last summer and never faultered.
Only criticism is watch your sliding door as it can tear the awning to van bellows if you are not careful – otherwise a brilliant bit of kit. (also packs away in 10 mins)

Last Thursday, quick spin of the wheels – out of the house, up over Bradwell Moor across the tops and down Cave Dale – not a bike or walker

Am pacing the house in anticipation – all up delivered for £325, on the business cycle to work scheme makes it just about £200 – can’t even buy something nasty from Halfwits for that!!

Ok does this mean that I am the only person left in the UK still using toe clips?
Love feeling strapped in, kinky I know, but it helps.

you must carry some form of digital device to allow customers to sign for goods.
    this device must never work.
always carry an undecipherable paper alternative but stop the customer filling in time and condition of goods delivered.

Stoner that is one odd looking bike, but as with all things a bit odd, it is strangely appealing. Hmmmm…what can I sell to raise funds, anyone want a couple of house trained kids?

1989 Townsend “somethingorother” the first MTB I could afford and we went everywhere together.
(would post a pic but the clothes I wore at the time were frighteningly fluorescent)

I am amazed – showed it to my 10 & 11 year old lads and they were silent all the way through breakfast – now that is impressive.

Loved it all – good to see him wearing a lid.

Love it, 90’s Polaris madness all over again – bet you’ve got a shortened drilled toothbrush and drilled spoon too for those overnight rides!! Off to take out every alternate spoke, should make me fly up those climbs 8O

Well this is my current and very retro ride (circa early 90’s) too many bits breaking now so it’s dues for a revamp into a commuter bike and the purchase of a new MTB.

Based on a 90’s Kona Cindercone bits with a US Ally frame, still has the Kona Joe’s Cages, bar, stem, saddle, Deore XT groupset, SUP Mavic rims, Tandem spokes (front – oh so tastefully snowflaked!), Project 2 straight forks. Goint to get the old frame repainted and see where it takes me…
