Totally see where you’re coming from Bob but sadly I think a letter writing campaign is more likely to result in our incompetent representatives shutting the trails to avoid liability than anything else.

In the event you do hit someone they can take their grievance up with the council, not you, but hopefully if and when the trails get busier (which seems to be happening already) it will become clearer to potential walkers etc. what the area is used for.

Hmm. When I click on ‘get started’ it still says ‘Spotify free is currently in an invitation-only beta, which means you need to have received an invitation token to access the service’.

    :-(

If someone could sort me out with an invite too that would be great.

Assuming you’re talking about TF, ask for some of their ‘lower mix’.

I’ve just taken delivery of one. Easy to work, very light, and strong if a bit wobbly. Also folds away lovely. Can’t believe it only cost £65.

I’ve been running flying snakes on my rear mech. Coming up for 1.5 years now, riding through all sorts, and I’ve never had to touch them. Shifts as sweetly as the day I set it.

As Doug says it’s possible but not with your 160mm disc.

Assuming you mean your forks are post mount, which XT brakes? New ones are post mount so you won’t need an adaptor.

I’m about 13.5/14 stone and needed a firm spring.

I didn’t have a big enough socket so used an adjustable spanner which was fine. A magnetic screwdriver or similar comes in handy for catching the u-turn adjuster bearings. It’s an easy job really, even more so if you take the fork off your bike. And yes keep the thing horizontal! I got my spring from TFTuned and it came with a handy guide enclosed.

Tune is ‘Don’t stop the rock’ by Freestyle if I remember right. Tis a classic tune now killed a bit by the ad, is still funny though.
