The starter set tanks are very basic, all the wheels and tracks are made as one part for example.

A 10,000 mile old cassette will be absolutely knackered, couple that with a new chain and it’s no wonder you are having shifting problems.

Chances are the new one will have the same issue if its the same model.

How old is your Pixel?  Sonos updated their app some time ago and it won’t install on some older devices.  I’ve got two Amazon tablet things that i can no longer use as they cannot update their own operating system any more to allow the new app to install.

You don’t really say what the issue you are having is?  I don’t have the same hub but I do have eight Sonos speakers, if I have a power cut it can take several days for them to all come back on line! It’s a right PITA.

It’ll have been moved on several times by now and as the insurance has paid out it belongs to them.  If it really means something to you then you could just buy it back?  Still worth mentioning it to the Police though.

Try Music Magpie and that’ll give you an idea if they are worth anything then you can go and get a proper appraisal at a shop.  As with all things collectable though condition is everything for top money.

It doesn’t really matter what it’s considered to be, until it’s tested in court then it’ll only ever be an opinion if there is doubt which there clearly is in this case. One planning officer has one opinion, another has a different one!  Luckily we only have one conservation officer in our planning department 🤣

It seems to depend on whether the track separating the two parcels of land is a public road or not.  If its a public road then its not within the curtilage, if its something else then it might be!

This is the question they ask when you go to get a quote:

“Have any drivers had any motor accidents or claims in the last 5 years? This includes any incidents, losses, thefts or claims involving a vehicle regardless of fault or whether you claimed or not.”

It depends on how often the service you are trying to use buys the latest address database.

My hospital has a DVT fast track pathway, can’t recall if you need a referral from your GP though to use it.  My right leg was swollen, i also though it was an insect bite.  The Mrs persuaded my to the go the doctors and by that same evening i was in hospital.  It was a Friday i think so a series of heparin injections over the weekend, back on Monday for ultrasound and full body CAT scan.  Turns out it was a clot behind my knee.  I had no pain or other symptoms other than a leg so swollen I couldn’t tie my shoes any more.

As they could find no reason for it happening I’m now on 10mg rivaroxaban a day for ever more which don’t cause me any problems – i have to carry the card and let my dentist know though.

Our recently refurbished Tesco Superstore has gone from two aisles totally around 40m in length dedicated to magazines down to a bit of shelving roughly six metres long mixed in with crisps and so on.

You use progressively finer grades of wet and dry and finish off with T Cut or similar.  Then you need to UV protect it or it’ll cloud over again fairly quickly.

Many car dealers including some of the very large ones use WBAC to underwrite the value of their trade ins.  So, WBAC knock off £100 for every paint defect they find, every scuffed wheel and so on.  They are not interested in how it runs, just how it presents at auction.  Bear that in mind when you take it in.

Has anyone found a cover that will fit the Lidl oven?  Mine will have to live outside.

There is a special underlay product that allows you to lay tiles flatter than the spec allows.  Cant recall what its called though.

We need to see your working drawings or specification really to get a better idea of what’s going on.

I’m not sure why this is a surprise any more —- after shopping around like i do every year both my house and car insurance came out cheaper than last year.

I’ve always believed in the rubbing a dock leaf on the sting to make it go away – and its always worked for me but google suggests its all an urban myth and there is no medical reason why it should work!

They are also saying that as it was being used in international waters there is no regulatory authority involved so no testing, inspection, compliance or anything like that required.

They have “explosive” hinges linked to the SRS system, looks like one of them has gone off.

If they did somehow find themselves outside the sub they wouldn’t be crushed.  The human body is more than 60% water which isn’t compressible and a quick google suggests that you’d have to be more than 35km down to be hurt by the pressure.

Having enough air to get to the surface would be one of the may issues as you’d have to be breathing something very exotic at that depth plus you’d need many very long decompression stops on the way up along with a vast quantity of gas.

Pressure cylinders – I’m no expert but some types of scuba cylinders are 300 bar and they do carbon versions as well.  I know its a much smaller scale but the technology exisits.

I use a Buff hat, it works fine but I’m rather disappointed that it quickly faded in the sun (after just a few weeks) and now looks very tired.  It wasn’t cheap either.  The outside used to be the same colour as the inside.

Recently had mine done via the insurance – twenty four hours wait for an old BMW Z4 and its a Pilkington screen as well.  Can recall who fitted it but it wasn’t Autoglass.

I get that message on my iPad but I don’t think I’ve seen it on the laptop. One thing that does happen on the laptop though is that if I’m watching YouTube on one screen and I then go to Singletrack in another window YouTube often grinds to a halt until I switch away from singletrack.

Every time I’ve been asked to end an auction early I’ve ignored it and ended up selling the item for quite a bit more. I don’t even bother replying to such requests any more.

I’ve got one of those clear plastic things with suction cups on stuck to the first floor bedroom window which is my office. There is a least one pair of blue tits feeding from it and taking the majority back to the nest along with grubs they have caught as well. They can demolish a fat ball in a couple of days and don’t seem bothered about me sitting just the other side of the glass. Maybe they can’t see me?
It took them about a week or ten days to notice it was there initially.

They market the 155 ones as E Bike cranks don’t they? I’m not aware of anyone who’s running 155’s on a normal bike. I went from 175 to 165 on mine and I can’t tell any real difference apart from them hitting the ground less.

The reasons for refusing to carry out the test are:

    g. A proper examination cannot be carried out because any door, tailgate, boot, engine cover, fuel cap or other device designed to be easily opened cannot be easily opened.
