Ive got a gary fisher hifi carbon. Havent broken it yet, I was also dubious after reading reviews online but I have the slightly beefed up version from 2009, I think the older models were more prone.

I weigh about 85kg and its been all over, it weighs nothing.

The only problem is the flexy rear end, I solved it by going 9mm bolt through.

Having worked for a removals firm and moving a few pianos, id say for 125 quid, just get it done professionally. As said before, its worth it for the insurance alone.

Yes goggles look lame, but so do glasses. Id rather squint with one eye and close the other than wear glasses.

Good few moans from people because theyve clearly bought a 29er and can’t handle the difference of somebody elses opinion. I thought it was a good honest write up and can agree that it wouldve been nice if theyd given you a £2k one to play with.

Althought I think that Trance 29er looks a bit of a mess.
