You can’t beat a cheeky splash of blue bits with titanium frames, it just works.

When a bolt snapped on me and was buried inside I used a dremel with engraver bits to make a slot on the sheared end, then used a flat bit in a socket wrench, mine was more work though as i had to apply a couple drops of superglue desolver then a soldering iron to heat up the threadlock and managed to undo it. A snapped hex bit should come out easier.

If a phone rings in the forest and nobody is around to hear it does it make a sound.
Sorry for that, couldn’t resist, anyone got a metal detector is your next post.

Sorry for my random interruption of the male bonding between poopscoop n Kelvin and a few others, I thought you’d finished, I did wait, my previous post seems a bit out of place and inappropriate now.

Edit: the male bonding bit is meant light heartedly, not extracting the urine, well maybe a drop 😊

I went to Manchester city centre yesterday and couldn’t wait to get the hell outta there, almost everyone maskless, zero social distancing, it seems like people are getting closer than pre-covid days and invading the personal space of strangers, shop assistants popping up right next to me like the suit you sir characters from the fast show asking if I need any help, yeah, i thought, could you stand back so you’re not breathing down my neck or accidentally spitting in my face, ie eff off.
It was stressful trying to keep at least some distance but nobody else seemed to give a toss, and I couldn’t help but notice the jam packed buses going by with a lot of bare faces, you’d think covid was over, so unfortunately I’m predicting another spike, amazed I haven’t caught it, touch wood.

That’s quite subtle and understated despite the green bits, when I think of Ibis its usually bright blue or orange that popped into my head.

Possible stupid question but who does the victim claim from for a new bike, someone above mentioned the drivers insurance doesn’t pay out as it wasn’t an accident. So is the victim 10k down as well as injured.

Interesting point about the new rockshox, I think they’ll have to be classed as 2023 seeing as under normal circumstances we’d only be a few months off the next years rockshox model coming out, I wonder if the bike companies will change fork spec later in the year before 2023 bikes are released, with a lot of bikes on order already who knows what forks will be on when your bike finally arrives, some people have already been waiting months and months after having their arrival date bumped several times.

Some odd choices being made at nukeproof, like does the Mega need 38mm forks, on the Giga yes but the Mega, given the option i think most would go lyriks and save over half a pound.
The one colour choice or make that no choice in 27.5 is poor and I agree red would be better option than grey only. I do love the mullet option though, but seeing as the alloy Mega put Nukeproof on the map it deserves better options than just deore or mid range sram. I like the red pro but I’m not a fan of sram, the blue carbon one is also nice but way out of my price range.

Squirrelking, Speaking as someone who has been shot in the leg with a pellet from an air pistol its a bit more than annoying, the scumbags would have to be unbelievably bold to stick around and take more shots, I certainly wouldn’t stick around for pellet number two and i doubt they’d report you to the cops.

So they were 2021 model leftovers from full builds, sometimes chainreaction don’t know what model year they’re selling.

He wouldn’t be the first to snap one or leave one in the bike park car park or on a wall when putting the bike in the car at some random trail.
Not forgetting the old, butchered/ rounded out the allen key fitting.

Pro bolt for alloy or uberbikes for titanium, I use Pro bolt alloy on all my coloured tech3 levers to colour match, there’s no need for steel bolts as you only need to nip them up with the short end of the allen key, I’ve never had a failure and they look sweet, I’ve colour matched the lever pivot pins as well.

Cheapest I’ve found is £40 for a wolftooth at leisurelakes “at a reasonable price” probably not and no way would I drop £50 on a rockshox maxle. Spacers is a good call.

There’s a kid on my street who goes around picking up all the elastic bands the postman leaves everywhere, I think I’ll put some money in a Christmas card for him instead.

Looking on Evocycles site they’re only taking orders for tech4 E4 brakes, wonder how much power you’d get with V4 caliper and what its equal to in power. The prices for tech3 E4 are the lowest I’ve seen for a while. Never used Evocycles myself, are they decent.

Vergiers even gone for green ti bolts and brake adapters to finish off, looks amazing but matching fork lowers would take it to the next level.
Reece’s matching gold helmet is a bold choice, he needs to ride a bit faster tomorrow to back that up.

20mm pvc conduit pipe cos you can tuck a rag inside, about £1.50 for a 2 metre length from toolstation or screwfix.

Looks like a clumpy and clumsy design to me and a tad monochrome Fisher price, I think on a mountainbike it would definitely get whacked with the first few rides, sod’s law and it would be karma for being a total bike ponce, should be relatively safer on a gravel bike though, rebuildable or not, each spare part is probably more than an XT mech.

If its a sram rear mech check the limit screw can handle the extra 3mm, depends on the frame and hanger I suppose, I’ve used the Hope conversion kit with shimano and with the chainline around 50mm, no probs, but if I had to re-dish I’d go for boostinator instead of loose spacers.

Have you contacted the seller to see if it includes 135×12 and 142 end caps.
Looking for an old stock hub might be an option then get it built up.
A 142×12 or a 135mm quick release going cheap that has 135×12 end caps still readily available like Hope do is the other option.
What’s the wheel size, sram or shimano freehub.
There’s an oil slick ns bikes hub at crc, shimano freehub for £70 when you use the clear2021 code.

GT85 after wet ride or washing to displace water and a silicone spray every now n again, cut up cereal boxes for putting behind the mech before squirting owt.

Do people still buy white socks ?, surely black, coloured or stripy if they’re cotton rich.

I have chunky feet so always end up with shoes with too much room around the toe box which results in my foot sliding forward in my fivetens, I hate having my laces too tight to prevent this so these socks might be the answer, it’s only a problem when riding flats in my case, so definitely a bit of a niche issue.

Personally I find Tracey’s voice a tad whiney so prefer the familiar voice of Claudio regardless of his results, plus if everyone applauds red bull for their equality they’ll be looking for a female version of Rob next and half his wages, heaven forbid.
Shouldn’t the OP have put this in the bike forum.

Any alignment issues, does the shock line up nicely when only one end is attached and tightened up or do you have to push it to one side slightly to slot it into the second mount. I always change DU bushings for poly ones.

15mm is a big difference to me, I recently rode someones bike with a 70mm stem and it was horrendous, personally I can’t get on with 35mm stems, I run a 50mm stem and holding a piece of string from bar end to bar end at the back of my grips the string is in line with my stem cap bolt, bar heights and roll can change that completely though and every spacer under the stem reduces reach slightly. You can get 40 or 45mm stems, unite even do a 42.5mm stem if you’re running 35mm bars.

I feel cheated, I had Canelo sparking him out in the 9th round 😀 definitely would have happened to, the difference in power was obvious from round two, mallet vs lump hammer, literally caved his face in with that uppercut, beautiful.

7 degree backsweep at a full 800mm could be the issue, I switched to nukeproof horizons with 9 degree and it is more comfortable for me, I’ve also settled down to 770mm width after switching between bikes and finally figured out what works best for me, I do think a lot of people are running to wide, not suggesting you are. I wonder if anyone is crying out for 820mm or more, funny how it’s settled down around 800 and people from 5 foot nothing to 6 foot 7 are running the same width. It’s surprising how many downhill and enduro guys of all heights are running 760.
