I thought it was that you tend to see them more on FS. It almost seems to make more sense to me on an HT as you are more likely to get bucked from the seat than you are on Fs.

Are you using the Sov more because of the dropper or did you ride it more anyway??

I have got a MT500 burner jacket that is great and a pair of shorts (not sure which) that are not so good.
Not found any other kit that I prefer though

I run a patriot with a pike 454 up front. It will be getting some Lyriks when budget allows. I’m not slow down hill and still feel I have got some way to go before I need “more bike” under me.

Its an ace frame, ugly but does the job and not too heavy. loads around too.

I run a middleburn RS7 duo in 29/42 on my Orange with a 12-34 at the back. Works fine for me at trail centres etc the bike tends to wheely out up steep stuff before I run out of grunt….

Slightly different take and more weather dependant but I worked out that a week at Glenshee in Feb with 2 x adults and 2 kids with fuel, passes and board would be about a grand.

I know its not “epic” mountain country but I fancy giving it a go?
