Bin her before you waste 16 years of your life with her, only to find out she has been cheating behind your back but see’s you as a “go to” when there is nothing else available.

Ah, walkers…fair enough…I though that I was liable to get a kicking from the local chavs or something.

I am always polite around walkers/horses!

    Thanks for all the help

Just done the “what car” valuation and that comes out at £5750.

I’m not looking to sell below price, what I said was the £7740 was based on average miles.

Feel for you. I remember the pain of my lab going and telling him he was a “good boy” as he drifted away. Choked up just thinking about it.

Its the right thing to do

Sounds good to me. Out to Brighstone, there are at least 3 good trails there, then up past black hut and along by westover plantation maybe…

I quite like the Lakeside hotel (Wootton), some nice walks over the back from there.
    The Little Gloster at Gurnard.
Shopping for your wife, Ryde is pretty good.
Ventnor seafront is ok for a wander. as is Cowes and Freshwater

I have tried mine in a few different builds but have settled on a Sektor solo air at 140 and a reverb. Running 34/22 with 9 speed out back. Minions at both ends too (heavy but punture resistant)
I was running fox 36 van at 160mm which was really stable on the downs but wouldn’t turn in singletrack, even getting as much weight as possble on the front wheel with renthal bars and 60mm stem I washed out the front too often.

I have used a Thompson seatpost before the reverb as more comfort comes from the tyre pressures than seatpost or saddle (IMO)

Have fun (the faster you ride it, the better they feel!)

I have a bfe with saint cranks and it seems stiff to me, not that I ever felt the middleburns that were on before flexing

I run a superstar guide on mine and it is fine.

Also have boil fox 36’s which feel too long (turns too slow). Need to find out how to shorten them to 140mm

Gotama…Its terrible with the 36 on at 160. Steers like a barge. Now running at 140mm which is much better

I went from an orange patriot to a Bfe…don’t regret it at all. The only thing that I would like is a dropper to get the seat out of the way for rougher ground.

I’m taking too many chances on my commute at the moment, going down the middle of 2 way traffic etc..

In my defence I lost my job a couple of months ago and am working my notice…each day is so painful that I can’t wait to get home.

Finish at Christmas if I last that long!

I was going to ask about the A3. I assume, once again that it is the same engine…

Is it the same engine in the octavia and Golf? Surely they would have the same issues.

maybe a low mile Mk4 golf 1.9tdi would be better?
