It all makes sense really considering humans see best at a set nm.

“Maximum sensitivity is at 507 nm (in the blue-green region) and red light is almost invisible.”

I use the green Holy Moses and really like them, it makes features on the trail stand out better, things look less flat if that makes sense.

Osprey Exos 48 rucksack for everything, day walks to weekend camping its so light and comfy i never bother with anything smaller.

Scarpa Manta boots for winter and use with crampons.

Mammut Mercury Advanced GTX boots for the rest of the time.

I always wear double socks, thin coolmax liners followed by heatholders, best socks o have come across they are very soft on the inside and allow the liner sock to move rather than your foot moving in the liner. Never had a blister with this combo even when walking for 3 days solid, they also do them in long for those winter walks.

Also use Superfeet green insoles, makes for a much better foot posture for me.

Well……… Which ones do you need for Llandegla??

I go bare-bar its the only way to really feel the trail.

What’s on your bike right now? Use that.
Some people really make me wonder sometimes, i mean what next which grips for a certain trail. Are people really that bothered about fitting in with other, just ride what works for you. I use a 30t on a 1×11 because i hate hills and dont care how long it takes to get up them.

Also if you dont know what ring you need, why are you even using a 1x setup surely a 2 or 3 would be better.

Never had any issues with ICR and always just fly straight down all the rough stuff. I did once run my rear tyre too low though and could feel the bang of the rim landing off the tarmac slab.

I havent even done san marino yet always change my mind and just play around in the gardens.

I like to take my time, degreasing and regreasing everything, cleaning everything. Usually take a whole evening so maybe 3 hours.

1×11 here and would never go back to a front mech, winter rides were always a problem with it freezing up and they are just plain rubbish.

I put mine in the machine on the hand wash setting and use soap flakes, with an extra rinse. Hang it up to dry, a decent jacket will have the down in compartments so wont all drop or clump together.
Once dry give it a good shake to fluff it back up.

I took my rp23 off because it was frankly rubbish, no mid support and blew through the travel far too easily unless you whack up the pressure, the CCDB Air is a much better fit that i use now.

Permanent. I’ve had a few in for the life of a tyre.

XX1 does a 28t and you then get a bit of top end back with the 10t at the back.

    Why not the Z2?

I wouldn’t use simply electronics, have a search on av forums and talk photography for the reason why.

Walked the Rangers path on Saturday 15th, no snow at all. Big bags of rocks blocking the path though easy to ride around though.
No snow on Rhyd Ddu either a small patch at the very top near the Watkins though.

Probably the fact they don’t shut the roads down and lots of cyclists just abuse the road. It would be fine except you get lots jumping the lights, riding well into the middle of the road and even the other side.

I’m amazed how many people put there opinion across like its fact.
I went with XX1 because i wanted to, why not. For me its miles better i like the range and have had no issues with it. My mate couldnt stand my bike because he likes his 3×9.

I did it on a 38lb FS bike with 2.25 high rollers on, easy enough to be honest. Its incredibly boring though, i wanted to do it each year but once was enough.

Fit some one way nipples, like on the Santa Cruz bikes, i just attach the grease gun squeeze and all the crap and old grease comes out the sides, wipe clean and repeat in 3 months time.

I have Lyrik Solo air on mine, really happy with them, if weight saving was my goal i would be using Pikes.

I lost a lot of weight of mine by going DB Air and SRAM XX1.

I have the 3-4mm gap on the drive side, should that not be there? Mine are rock solid though, i was surprised how tight it was.
