Mountain bike, no matter the weather. Road is just so boring, and only ever used to get to and from trails.

I thought there were guidlines that stated to use there own judgment. I cycle on the pavement outside work every day as i need to go down the road by work so im not crossing over to cycle around 50 meters to then cross again. I only go at walking pace anyway.

Hope your friend is okay. But it just sounds like riding beyond the trail conditions. If its a blind corner you shouldn’t be going full speed round it.

I eat that by the bucket full, im not a fan of the artifical sauces, this is about as hot as it gets before they start adding additives. Such a nice fruity taste.

Well i went from a 66 RC3 to a Lyrik and while not quite as supple they are plenty good enough and a whole heap lighter. Damping is better though the controls make a big difference and plenty of adjustment.

Its not a silly question if you havent used SRAM shifters before, and before you ask yes they should have a good clunk when using them.

Shifter is thumb up for higher gear thump forward for lower gears.

    Debatable, lol not really.

    11-36 x 34
    0.9 – 3

    10-42 x 30
    0.7 – 3

    10-42 x 38
    0.9 – 3.8

    =10-42 wins

The 10t makes a massive difference.

    On the low side a 28 x 42 is the same as 24 x 36

IMO if your doing this somewhere you really shouldn’t be, its best to use what’s around you don’t add anything from afar.

It is that, i don’t mind mud and water lying around but really not a fan of rain.

My reading of the road and braking was perfect. Absolutely perfect.

So why didnt you brake harder at at all. I could have stopped faster by using my feet on the ground.

I put one in the cap and one in the base of the bottle. There not mega tight just enough to compress the sealing rubber. Then i pump to 80psi and it usually pops the tyre on and inflates to about 30psi.
