Definitely think this is my next bike. Have to order the frame and fork together so i can get the colour match, SID looks good, 35mm tubes and can use torque caps.

Realised on my 530 even with all default maps including trailforks enabled and the openstreet ones on, the openstreet take priority and the map is much more detailed so thats great.

Ive added the openstreet maps to my garmin, but the actual map looks no different, how can all the maps be enabled at the same time?

Currently just a Nomad 2, but strongly looking at the Transition Spur.

Love the look of the latest Transition bikes.
The spur looks perfect for a trail center bike.

Just record the ride with an app like endomondo and sync accounts to Garmin if you don’t have a Garmin device.
I think you have to manually sync segments as well that way.

I don’t pay for my Garmin account and it does segments.

I’m over the moon with my 530 but I don’t ever user it to browse the map while out. I load a route and follow it. I will use my phone to look at maps as it had access to better/more map data.

Only bike I have is a Santa Cruz Nomad 2. Want to replace it with a Transition scout now through.

See if it’s worth going to the Evo axle setup while you’re at it.
I did my pro 2 so that I could fit an XD freehub. Maybe the axle is stronger.

I went for a ride at about 6am Saturday, still a fair few people driving to places to walk their dogs. Only managed about 8 miles just keeps the legs ticking over.

Were supposed to be furloughed by the 1st April. 80% from government and 75% of the remaining balance by the company. So about 95% overall pay, which accounting for the fuel i normally use will mean im better off, so happy with that.

Yes, i have my heart set on a new Transition Scout, but i cant decide if a SC 5010 would be better all round bike? I really fancied a change from SC.

I’m finding it very difficult bringing myself to going out at the minute. People getting too close freaks me out.
Past couple of weeks it’s been to work and back and that’s it no leaving the house otherwise.

I might try and dig my lights out and do evenings or very early mornings. My usual routine is about 8am weekends but the local country parks seems to be rammed from photos on Facebook even early on.

So far okay, work in the Aerospace industy, last week we had a number of customers asking if we could continue to work through all this, making the most of planes being grounded they can repair anything and everything they can so were trying to get their parts back to them as soon as we can.

Longer term, not sure, i think worst case we would all be sent home on reduced pay.

Got my eye on one of these to replace me mk2 SC Nomad. Pair it with a Fox 34 and a set of Carbon wheels.

I’m tempted to stick a new frame on 0% for 12 months, would let me get some nice new carbon wheels and a fork much sooner.

My mate just got one of these, not used it yet but it has me interested.
However I have images in my head of my bike smashing down the M6.

Moonglu will build Santa Cruz Reserves on Hope Hubs. Not cheap at £1500 though, i am temtped for my next build, either those or the Blueflow ones.

I actually like all the colour.
Next bike will be a blue frame, with a few Orange parts, hubs, brakes. But that will probably be it the rest will be black.

Depends on the day and time, ive come down the Llanberis path and only seen a couple of people who were more than happy to step aside and let me past.

I have walked the Rangers many times but never riden down it, that path leading back to Llanberis looks good also.

Just make sure you go as early as you can, once it gets busy its a boring ride.
I always aim to be at the top for sunrise, basically have the place to myself to go as fast as you like.

As above also be aware of the ban at certain times of year.

I have yet to buy a frame and headset where they wouldnt fit the headset for me for free, take your fork and they will probably cut that down for you as well.

I have never used a stand just not required, might make it a bit easier but thats it.

Just buy the tools as you go, and look for a frame with threaded BB just easier to do at home.

Only ever purchased one complete bike the rest have all been built up from the frame, but i transfer as many old parts to the new frame as i can and only upgrade replace when needed.

Colours are odd for people running dark theme on phone.
Reply box is bright white, and you have grey on grey text in places.
