I just have 4600lumens on my bars no helmet light as of yet, haven’t felt the need for one.

I’d love to try an orange bike but everytime I consider it I realise you can get a better carbon frame for the same or a bit more. Really puts me off.

Sunrise without a doubt. I’m an early morning person often on my bike at 5am or earlier.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this as well, tempted to give the whole thing ago next year, be good to get some practice in, it’s right on my doorstep.

1 liter of water, I try to drink 500ml an hour.
I’ll often take my filter bottle to so o can drink from any water source.
I will eat a bar every 2 hours, take a pump tyre levers and a tube, plus a multi tool that’s it.

Cheap trail shoes, thin pair of socks, plastic bag another pair of socks.

I was comparing frame to frame. Nuts that a 140mm carbon frame weighs more than a 160mm alloy frame.

I really fancied one, but it just seems heavy. I mean it’s heavier than my alloy SC Nomad.
Spur looks like the bike for me.

And in your opinion those are the only two reasons. Or I just see it differently than you.

The whole black lives matter is rubbish.
Surely of you want to get rid of racial anything it should just be lives matter.

There will always be a racial divide if they keep doing things like this.
    I don’t see a black person or a white person, it’s just a person.

I see it as positive discrimination.

They definitely need a sign at the bottom saying something like.
“Only good quality bikes such as those from Santa Cruz, and only disk brakes allowed, absolutely no poor people bikes”

Since when did people look down on those that can’t afford thousands on a bike.

I wouldn’t use there tape anyway. It’s destroyed my frame. All the glue has bonded with the paint, took ages to peel just the top tube piece off and then hours to remove the glue which has left my paint dull. Left the rest of the tape on the bike even though it’s lifting in places.

Would be the Hopes for me as well. They have never let me down and do easy to look after.

I recently tried to remove some I got from Biketart and it’s made a right mess of my frame. I ended up leaving most of it on as the bit I did remove was so sticky it left all the glue on the paint which took hours of scraping to remove and has left the paint full.

The sealant I use won’t go through the valve or the syringes. Only way is to pour into the tyre.
The valves I have I thing superstar or Uber bike the valve cap is a valve core tool as well so handy.

I just use the leftovers from work, we have to bin it on the use by date. I must have about a liter of the stuff now, and 222.

RS, Farnell or Brammer. The three we use at work.

    1. I have to save up.
    2. And most difficult, get the wife to agree I need a new bike.

I think I’m due one, my Nomad 2 had served me well for all these years but I fancy something more suitable now. Gone are the days where I just bought the biggest of everything. I’m actually sensible now and the Spur looks perfect.

Also on the want list is.

    Blueflow carbon wheels
    SRAM Eagle AXS
    Reverb AXS

Probably keep my current cranks, just need a boost chaining.
Keep my bars, Easton Haven carbon, brakes Hope V2 and M4.
See if the shop can order me a frame with fork so the colours match.

Thin socks, plastic bag, another pair of socks. Then use any shoes.

So what’s stopping them targeting them again now they know they’re willing to pay.

Using my Clarity credit card in Euros should result in the best price. Thanks

Where did you get it for that price. Just the mech and shifter are more than that now.

I’m still using my gen1 xx1 mech so definitely don’t kill those.

Now to decide to I go with bike-components.de or pay £100 more to get from the UK.

The same people that enforce no riding on footpaths.

If i do Snowdon i get to the top before sunrise, only ever seen a couple of walkers on the way back down at this time.

I have a Holy Moses green, best light I’ve ever had. After sales is amazing I’ve had a few bits from Dell over the years, replacement battery lock thing, rubber bands.
I want an OMG green for my helmet next as well.

I normally go as early as i can to avoid traffic and people, still park at the Cocklet car park just out of habbit. Get around fairly quickly, avoid the bit near the stone slab drop bit i find i cant get any flow there. Do the hope line a couple of times, then on the drive home go around Rivington.

By the time you have changed the wheels, brakes, saddle and grips would it not just be easier to get the frame?

Id need new wheels, forks, seatpost but would still get frame only.
