Me and maybe a couple more ( to be confirmed ).

Just been out on the first ride with the Hope 4 after trying night rides with cheap EBay type lights and a Tesco torch on the lid.

Still used the Tesco torch on the helmet just to be able to look around, but the Hope is a huge improvement generally.

I need a few more rides to get used to night riding, I'm sure the light is excellent it's just the rider that's crap :)

At least I've no excuses for not going out now !

We did Ae last week for the first time and enjoyed it, we've done Dalbeattie three times previously and had great fun.

We've also done Kirroughtree and Glentress a couple of times and Mabie just the once.

Mabie is possibly the least favorite ( IMHO ), but overall ….

They're all damn good fun !!

Do which ever you fancy and then do the other on the next trip :)

Boards ( Mistral Screamer Race & Alpha 215 ) still in the garage gathering dust unused for several years.

Gave up and went biking instead, at least you can plan to go on a weekend irrespective of the weather.

Great fun when the wind was blowing when you managed to catch it ….. the number of times I turned up after work ( at Pugneys near Wakefield ) to watch the wind die away as you were rigging !

Sanity Assasin – I have been to Stainburn and will be going again soon and hopefully will also try Lee Quarry soon as well. Certainly parts of Stainburn are beyond my skill level and I suspect Lee Quarry may be the same 8O

Two hours from near Huddersfield, sounds like we’ll stick to Dalby for occasional Trail Centre visits :)

We were there on Friday and all of the Black and Red were open.

Not riding today either … on-call and been in to work already ! :(
