Think al take to my lbs he is a real good wheel builder and charges naff-all but it’s a slow turn round.
I will tell him I want them for this Sunday so I can join my local road club (which he runs) on my first ride out. If its owt like mtb they will love some fresh meat.

If I remember they wouldn’t sell me one, or it was just as expensive as having the whole frame sent back.

We have a 12/13 week old pup and we have used the crate training method (although she is an only dog).
She hasn’t peed in the house for a couple of weeks and has never done any thing over night, the key for us was to set the alarm for say 3-4ish am and let her out.
It was tough to start with but she would pee instantly when placed outside (I pick her up and place her outside and dont speak to her till outdoors to stop her getting exited)and now we set the alarm for 6.30ish and she is fine.
Real happy with her progress but she has found a new skill in DIGGING up my lawn .

I have a pair of Brasher goretex walking boots, but was thinking wellies for just kicking off and leaving muddy.
Don’t really want to do that with me boots, would have thought that for around £60 wellies would be warm and comfy.

I have seen the “Sherwood Pines club” going in the wrong direction at night, saw them comming a way off so no problem here.
At night I go in all directions as I have my own loop with the red and the special secret stuff combined 😀

Dezb think of the wellies like a comfortable singlespeed bike you can leave covered in crap all winter and will still be good to go the next time you use em.

Ha Ha Dezb those campari ones are gross and I bet they are awfull to walk in too but the others don’t look to bad.
Thanks for the links folks I guess I will have to find some and try them on as I am a UK9 in shoes but a UK10 in trainers.
Havn’t worn wellies since I was about 10 years old.

Big Jim I think they are tweaked with the bar and hammer before they are sent for heat treating, so should come back stiffer.

We picked our 9 week old pup up on friday and was told the same thing about being paper trained.
We gave it a whirl with the newspaper but she wasn’t too good on it so we stopped that method.
We now after meals, play and sleep pick her up and put her outside in the toilet place and say “be quick” and wait for her to go.
At first she would be a while but now she almost goes instantly (thats why we pick her up and place her outside as when she follows us she was going before we could get the door open.)
We use a crate at night and I read that for every month of age the pup is that is roughly the amount of hours they can hold it for.
So we set the alarm for 3am and take her out, so far we have had no accidents 😀

Northwind wrote….Incidentally. Sov is cromo isn’t it? Wonder if they’ve ever thought about a posh steel version.

My MK1 Sov is 853 tubing, it’s no lightweight but I love it.

Quick google has revealed some interesting results, the zigzag motion is known as the S method.
They even have speed cleaning comps where the cleaner soaps with one hand and squeegees with the other = swoon.

Think my probleb was that my squeegee has a sponge attatched so while squeegying suds were going on the glass again.
Should I get a separate one?

I was in a similar place as OP, I stopped running a couple of years ago after some bad knee pain, put on loads of weight while still riding lots.
Then last september I said that was it I am going out running.

Started doing 3 miles three times a week 90% off road(hate running on pavements).
The pain soon came back, so started using ice packs on me knees afterwards.
I now run 4 times a week on average 8-9 miles per run but I have found a really good run of 12 miles that I do once a week that is 95% off road from my door that goes throug a dissused railway tunnel that is 600m long hardly see a soul while out too.

I have only ridden me bike twice since the new year as I am loving the running atm.(will be back on the bike after winter for sure.)

Oh I have lost 15lbs so far will be happy with another stone gone.

Get out there take it steady and it will come back to you.

I had a cotic soul in size small, I like you like my bikes on the small side but the soul was just a little small tbh.
I am 5/11 with a 31 inside leg so I think you should look at a medium.
Great bike the soul, but I now have a Sovereign 😆

My old man (@60 years old) still works in a private mine in South Yorks and told me that the machinery they use is just the same as the kit he used as a lad at 16 when he first started.
Wish he would get out of it but he has done nothing else and loves the job.
Tis a worry in times like this when bad things happen.
    RIP Lads.

That frame has been painted hot and the painter has put too much powder on it.
He will have definatley seen it and is trying it on.
Any half decent company would put that right, I would take it back.
You have payed top money (if it’s an industrial paint co) and would expect a top job.
BTW ex powder coater here 😆
