Fitted some longboards on my CaadX the other week quite a lot of swearing and dropping stuff on the floor and spending five minutes looking for said bits.
Had to bend the rear stays to go round the disc brake, and cut the fronts as the mounting holes were half way up the fork.
Oh I used a pair of pliers to cut them GRRRR! 😀
Took me about 45 mins. Would have been faster if Didn’t have sausage fingers.
So hats off to Ton (guessing you have shovel hands).

When I was in me prime I could do sets of ten, I could fire 10 reps with wide grip hands forward and touch the back of my kneck on the bar.
20 years and a few stone later I struggle doing one.

I have a CaadX and I’m using it on the road over winter. I have just fitted some chromoplastic longboards so not bothered about mudguard fitting on the new road bike as it will be used in the dryer months.
Liking the look of the KTM especially as it has bolt through wheels.

Then phoned me saying we really need to complete this deal or the price will go back up, he wasn’t impressed when I said we had got anothe firm in lol.
Coral are not the cheapest but I would have them again in my new house.

Rode up winnats on saturday real tough with the wind but made it, then the ride back to Hope from Edale was ace.
We were motoring but checking Strava once I got home it had failed to record any of that bit. Grrrrr.

You can powder coat over the other colour but theres a good chance you will get a poor finish ( orange peel etc).
I would get the paint stripped if you wanted a nice job.
