i could never bring myself to buy any of the boardman bikes.
the thing is he was in my class right through secondary school.
we got on ok but lets say he wasn,t the sharpest pencil in the case.
his knickname was bat boardman???.
he would go around drawring the bat sign everwhere with his name in the middle
(at 16) so thats the reason however strange it may seem….

iv,e got the recon 351 solo air sl on one of my bikes and they are superb.i,v upped them to 120mm by chopping 20mm of the spacer and they,ve been flawless.
i love them,great to ride.super plush m/control is perfect.
no complaints here…

let all the air out and start again.
let-ve out first,turn forks upside down so you don,t loose oil
put +ve in first.
when putting -ve in fill the right way up until you see the fork just start to pull into the travel.
turn back upside down to take pump off.
