After a quick measure of everything Superstars info is totaly wrong.The actual insertion depth of the EC cups is a tad over 8.5mm.There 10mm info includes the tapered end of the cup so slotted in a dream. 😀
Have a ceramic and it is really good.Still going strong after 2 years.I did open the bearings when new and fill with ceramic specific grease that i got off the late kaesea.

Loco chucked in the RCT3 damper and a dual flow when he serviced my 426 dual air pikes.
The difference is just amazing.
The oil volume in the damper is 140 ml and still 15 ml in both lowers.

Superficial.It still won’t work with a 36 in the middle position.The bump in the middle of the outer cage gets in the way.
I might just have to use a BB mounted one as i does seem a high direct mount wasn’t invented for 9 speed double set up.
BB mounted and normal band mount do exist.Typical…. 😥

Quote me if i’m wrong here but i have double 9 speed normal type slx front mechs on two bikes.
The plates are different on the doubles to allow you to use a 36t ring and a lot shorter.
If you use a 36t on a standard tripple 9 speed front mech the chain WILL rub on the outer plate as it’s designed for a 32.
There a different shape hence my question… 😀
It started when they brought out the slx double (22/36)crank set and FD to suit.

Yer seems to be no more.Real bummer as all my bikes and wheel sets are running on his.
I used to test his new ones on my frames and got loads of bearing presses and extractors free off him.
Luckily i still have quite a few sets left so ok for a while.His bearings where second to non and great value.
Real shame as he was a great guy,bit bonkers but aren’t we all. 😀
