DT78..The mo-co and standard rebound shaft can get a bit overwhelmed on repeated hits.Dual flow solves this and the RTC3 damper gives better damping. 😉

Will Do minty…Should be a great fork after Si,s had his hands on it.

All ready got RTL-Ti black box revs and they are great. So hoping that the pikes should ? be just as good if not better..
I,m sold anyway and off they go to loco. 😀 Plus thinking about it i just can,t be doing with the pampering the fox need.
It was just at that price it got me thinking.

My arm is being severely twisted here… 😉
I do love the pikes though. They just feel bomb proof. With magic performed on them it will stop them packing down and keep up with some of the best 140,s out there..

They will fit but as steve said the pikes will end up superb.
The pike upgrade+full service works out about the same.

Using the tool is a better way to put them in.There,s no reason why they could,nt have fitted them for you though. Also buy a vice.never know when you,ll need one.. 😉

Yer you need to do a strip down. You,ve got the grease in the right place.
But you really need to check out that bearing. Those marks look very very like three roller marks to me bud…If it was me i,d defo do it as that can only get worse..
Also sounds like they where really dry by your description.

Dead easy to do.I use RSP Ultra Slick Grease from tft on mine and it works a treat.
Trick is to was them out first with de-greaser to get any crap out. Then dry it out with a hair drier to make sure you get rid of it all.Really push the new grease with your thumb and keep spinning the rollers so it gets to the back of the bearing.
