My Five frame did this(after a re-spray).What i did was get a screwdriver.Wrap it in a rag.Go in from underneath and lever the shock up and forward while wiggling the shock from the other end.
Bingo.comes out a treat.Wait till you try and get it back in.That’s where the fun starts.
Iv’e took a file to mine and took the excess paint off around where the bushings sit.Problem solved.

I have a ksi950 and a Reverb.Much prefer the Ks.Better actuation and the button is just nicer to use.Also bomb proof.
Servicing is a doddle and costs pennies.
The Reverb is nice but i hope i don’t break anything on it.

I have fitted one in my spicy.
If you still can pop the top hats off,seals off and pump the bearings full of a good quality bearing grease.They come quite dry.Just chuck all the spare bits as not required for anything.
GPX adapter,spacers and springy thing if not required.
They really are very good and i bought 2,one as a spare.I would really recommend the grease though.
10 times better than the xtr one it replaced.

Flat screwdriver from the opposite side.
Tap with hammer.
Alternate between each side of the bearing.
Just push the inner sleeve out of the way with said screwdriver.
They fly out. 😉
