How does it start in the first place?

Mine was triggered by cats – interesting seeing as I’ve always had cats, but black males are (apparently) more likely to do it to you.

Interested in this Montelukast; have review on Monday and will bring it up – usu. Symbicort sorts out ok, have only had one proper attack in the 5 years I’ve had it and that was after beasting round NyA to see how fast I could do it – felt **** awful for hours.

I don’t think hand size has any relevance.

I have a woman’s hands, my Lord and I prefer fat squishy grips – ODI Yetis or Rogues do me nicely. Some of my spade-handed friends prefer skinny-skinny grips.

I got my 1st smart phone this month – couldn’t have cared what it was as long as it was cheap. Paid nothing for the handset & it costs me £6 a month.

Out of interest what’s the 100k extra bits like? More of the same?

Someone suggested to me it might not be that much of a leap to go from the 50 to 100 (I’d need a bit of practice though 🙂 )as he reckoned there was more flat stuff on the 100.

As I was riding singlespeed the flats were the worst part for me. Even though it was a grinding effort up some hills I overtook plenty of people on them and kept up with most on the descents, but got sailed past on anything remotely flat whilst I span my arse off 🙂

At the time I got my Rampant only 2 had been ridden to death – both, I believe, by Mike Montgomery; which seems acceptable 🙂

I don’t think any company would see much return on bikes like these as they’re so “off-trend” most people wouldn’t consider them. They also take a bit of effort to get the most from and many folks aren’t into that.

Brilliant event (the weather may have influenced my spirits!). Think I might start right at the back for the next one I do so all the grumbling walkers have gone by the time I get to the 1st climb – I was quite happy to walk up it as I accept it’s gonna happen.

Edit: Incidentally… care to share your ratio? I did my 1st event SS today (HONC) and didn’t die; am pondering doing likewise for the Dyfi, but think it might do for me at 58 inches. Do you use the same ratio wherever you ride?
