surely an antibody certificate and a clear test would be much more useful

An antibody certificate would be no more use than vaccination certificate.

Ps. I have just yet again tested positive for antibodies 11 months now from my positive covid test fingers crossed on my next test ill have had them a full year, I get tested for covid twice a week at work and at the moment I have declined the vaccination, based on the fact that I already have natural antibodies

How many do you have? Enough to test for, or enough to be effective?
    Booster shot??

Isn’t there some evidence that a (non-vaccinated) person who catches the virus from a vaccinated person will develop a less-severe disease?

    That sounds rather unlikely

Those martial arts I listed are the ones available at the local school which is a short walk away, this will influence my decision as I can’t be bothered cycling across town for it.

Don’t bother at all then, you won’t stick with it.

I have a choice of kick boxing, Taekwondo and Southern Shaolin Kung Fu which appeals to me because it looks coolest in the movies. But then maybe kick boxing as it sounds like you get to spend more time hitting stuff.

I’d recommend kali/escrima/arnis (same diff.) if you’ve got any near you. For all round mix of fun, coolness, movement, fitness and actually being of any use should you feel the need.

OP’s experience is exactly the same I had in a short stint as a postman.

The depot big boss (decent guy) was quite keen to let me go without seeing out my notice when I told him I was about to flip and kick shit out of someone. He knew I meant his under-boss (jobsworth brainless ****) who was roundly despised.

“Going postal” really is a thing.

Also it would seem Jedi is not in their list of religions

Satanism is in the list, if you’re feeling like a bit of an edgelord.

    Or a dark lord

I’m not complaining though, but just find it a bit odd that I take priority over others who would maybe be more in need of it sooner?

Pretty much any underlying health condition on your record means you’re in cohort 6. The guidance on what an UHC is, is so vague that we’re pulling in pretty much anything to define the cohort.

I had one last week (UK). Didn’t want to go as I felt terrible, but they needed to prod me. I think it could have been done over the phone with me prodding myself.

    I’ve gone for it x 2

The regular is drinkable, the single malt is bloody nice. Will be finding out soon what the limited is like.

A friend borrowed my van this week as his car is dying. He didn’t know you should wait for the curly orange symbol to go off on the dashboard or that diesel engines don’t have spark plugs.

His dying car is a diesel.

While I know minimal stuff about cars, I found out these things through curiosity – whereas my friend stumbles blindly through life with his head up his arse.

Did some of you actually read the article?

Course not! But I’m gonna spout my uninformed opion anyway 🤗🤗

What next, eh? I’ll tell you what next! Next it’ll be Hello Kitty isn’t a little girl who lives just outside of London – now she’s actually a cat!

And so is her boyfriend (currently, also a little girl).

    The world’s gone mad.

Just don’t anyone point out her/its surname is White…

it should be one toy and come with male- and female-presenting accessories in the same box.

Which would have the potential to modify the my father’s favourite punchline somewhat:

Any chance anyone knows anything about obtaining data from Pinnacle/PharmOutcomes?

I’ve got a bit of a workaround that gets me some of it, but could really do with the whole dataset. For some reason the line of communication to the software supplier is even more non-existent than usual 🤪

You’re gonna need onions too – I struggle to think of many authentic curry recipes (Bangladeshi/Indian) that don’t have a base of onion.

    Authentic? You mean Brindian :)

Jains don’t eat onions – and plenty of other things

What’s the most southerly Greek island, Crete? That’s got to be fairly pleasant in January I’d have thought.

It rains a fair bit in January.

    Carers are in cohort 6

‘speakeasy’ – there is a word I haven’t seen used in a long while

Clearly you don’t frequent the hip joints that London has sprouted in recent years where you have to do the secret knock and get in through the fridge in the corner of the pub.

    Pretentious? Moi??!

I had this for the first time last night. 4 cans in one box all exploded, the 4 front t’other were well behaved.

I always tap the can before opening it though

    What does this do?

I’m pondering 2-3 months in Crete when I can next get there as a trial run of taking advantage of Greece’s digital nomad visa scheme.
Full details aren’t available yet, but it looks like 50% tax break (fag packet sums indicate that means about the same I pay in the UK – depending on what 50% means) for up to 7 years.

I’d rather be in Costa Rica, but have reasons for Crete.

The chances are my employer would be ok with it – I just have to be sure I’ll be motivated to work while I’m there…
