Done. Hope I don’t win the Metallica CD.

Understandable seeing how spiders don’t have ears.

Does the gift aid get you even more entries?

Maybe do something a bit “normal”?

I watched Follow Me (radness) – bored me to tears – followed by Pretty Sweet (just some guys with bikes & a camera) and felt really inspired to go riding cos it was done in the kind of places I like & can fairly easily get to.

They also kept their wheels on the ground like I tend to :)

is it like usual raffles… i.e. one ticket per quid? so if you donate more you get more tickets?

Who cares? Don’t be so tight!

Dreaming of winning the CD – shame its not vinyl though – don’t have a CD player yet :)

Prior to the epidural for the tibial pin insertion, a very foxy Japanese nurse gave me a massive manual glycerin enema. Worked a treat.

They probably made a porno out of it as well.

For softer flatbreads I use 200g of gram flour a medium egg and 240 ml of water.

    Plus flavouring/seasoning.

Can be done for the rest of your life, “they” say.

I think the point of it is it’s a healthy way to feed yourself that is also good for weight loss, should weight loss be required, rather than a way to lose weight.

I’ve found singlespeeding works wonders for the core/nearly everything.
Sitting/kneeling on a big squishy ball is good too.

My local Co-Op had nice bottles of Rioja @ 2 for £6 or 1 for £10.50 a couple of weeks ago.

Was I wrong to buy them all?

why is his helmet on his bars and not on his head?

You be foolish not to buy one, but then you’d be foolish to wear it due to rotational forces or some shit :)

You might well ask where his spokes are.

    Top Tip:

Smear a bit of oil on your fingertips prior to chopping chillies, wash hands when finished and the chilli juice will go with the oil leaving you free to stick your fingers in any orifice you so desire without any untoward effects.

NB: Regardless of culinary activity always seek permission with owner of aforementioned orifice(s) before proceeding.

A TT won’t damage your frame.

The best & quietest are fluid, mags are ok and fan ones are a bit shit.

I used one of these[/url] to keep me going whilst recovering from a bust collarbone recently and have no further use for it – it can be yours; if interested drop me an email.

Toothpaste is also quite uncomfortable on the scrote if you don’t realise where that bit you dropped went.

Nowadays I always check I’ve got pants on prior to squeezing the tube.

Star Wars is nothing like Dune

Dune and star wars are not alike at all

Must just be me who sees the similarities?
Maybe cos I’ve got supernatural powers and can kill with a word/a thought?

    RE: Clicky Pro IIs

Remove freehub, fill with grease and it won’t make a sound.
Did that recently, just for the hell of it, whilst doing a bit of other maintenance and find the lack of clicky a bit weird 8O

You can do it using a line graph if you use a formula to force an error in the empty cells.

e.g. In cell B10 (etc.) have:
    =VLOOKUP(A10,C10,1,0)

where this is nonsense and will return #N/A

If the data set for the chart is contiguous Excel will overlook these errors and plot the chart, lines & all, as you want.

So…next question…anyone any experience of the 2009 Giant Glory? Good buy, or is there something better?

Absolute tank! If you’re into Victorian engineering then a Glory is definately the way to go

One of my friends has got one, he’s very happy with it and is finding a whole new world of riding off silly things has opened up – he’s now doing 8 to 10 foot drops :)
That’s really what those bikes are designed for, but are great fun to point down hills. The same applies with the Big Hit – they aren’t for climbing on! However the Glory comes with a granny ring so you can winch your way up.

If it was just a case of doing the PPdS I’d still stay away from a bike like the Glory and go for a Reign instead – they are very capable descenders and reasonable on the ups. But… as you’ve got a week of mostly downhill riding to do you might survive better on a bigger, burlier bike – I generally manage 3 days of DH before I can’t hold on any more, but I do tend to go for the rockiest descents poss.

Whatever you get I’d highly advise coil suspension as air generally isn’t robust enough to cope with repeated long descents.

It was 5 weeks before doctor said he didn’t want to operate !

That’s pretty normal, they like to see if it can progress on its own before spending the cash/exposing you to the downsides of surgery.

Personally I’d rather have gone under the knife straight away even though I know 1st hand how freaking painful it is when you come round :)

    This laser stuff sounds magic!
