You should have shouted “speed up” as you went past.

He may however have been in dire need of your assistance with some important matter and sadly you let him down. Maybe the next time you see him will be on the news or lying dead at the side of said path.
    Maybe.

Not been that far North – worked in Brisbane for a while and all things considered I quite liked it :)

Bitey things aren’t really such a problem; I’d be more concerned about the intense heat in Summer and the prospect of being stranded in the annual flooding in the Winter in that part of QLD.

Do it. If you don’t like it, come back.

    washed in soapy warm water

why soapy water, out of interest?

To clean the ribena stickiness from it.
Have washed motherboards the same way – it occasionally brings them magically back to life.

As nobody’s put a vote in for Domains I will!
Bit heavy, but also a bit good for the price – I got a set off here for a mere £150 and am very chuffed with them. A good balance of plushness v long service intervals.

Autumn raspberries are nice and tasty (they don’t work to any known calendar), brassicas & tatoes are going crazy – aubergines pitiful.

I plunged my phone into a glass of ribena*, took it apart, washed in soapy warm water dried in sun – is healed again.

Allegedly sticking smelly shoes in the freezer will kill the bacteria that make them pong.

Never tried it though, my freezer’s too full of curry.

    Go as Free Willy.

Simple to do – t shirt with £0:00 and large arrow pointing down towards your c*ck (which must be out otherwise it just won’t work).

38:16 here in South Leics. Pretty flat, but the noteworthy climbs tend to be steep (and slow towards the top :) ).

Going to Wales (Dyfi Forest area) for the weekend and will be trying out 28:17 – last time I went there I went with 32:16 and had to stop for a breather every 10 mins while climbing!

Dr.X* was my maths teacher at school – he had a very big beard and was often spotted riding a tandem on his own. Not sure if it was single speed.

My GF would have a similar problem – although she would have mentioned it sooner.

She was in floods of tears high up at the Bernabéu stadium (pre me) and had to leave, much to the annoyance of her then boyf.

FWIW GF is only semi-nutter :)

Must have a word with my PR agent!

Good stuff Matt; I’d be interested in hearing more about it – diameter range, what you think of it etc.

My rear tyre has no knobblies in the center tread anymore, but still grips fine on Spanish rock :)

I’ve been there a lot; since changing to dual ply high rollers I haven’t had a puncture. Bit weighty, but worth it for not having to stop on the fine descents.

    Its mainly dry hard pack

I know Switchbacks & believe Ciclo Montana go for more of the rocky descents than Freeride Spain so I’d definately go for puncture protection.

I wonder if you could make a cheetah faster by putting it through a structured training programme? It works with horses after all.

You could make it faster by getting it to do a warm up. Works for horses (& humans).

Greyhound owners give their dogs a bit of a w*nk just before they go in the traps – works wonders.

    Apparently.

All this ss v’s gears up a hill is a load off bollocks, it’s all down to the individuals mentality of wether their prepared to sit and spin or put it in a higher gear and get out of the saddle and power up it.

I agree. There’s no way I’d climb in my SS gear if I had the option to change down, which is why I’ve started SSing for a lot of riding to work myself harder.

    1) Start off with this & modify to your needs: http://www.ozgrid.com/VBA/change-case-text.htm

2)Prob use conditional formatting rather than code

Bonus)Two way lookup using SUMPRODUCT function in conditional formatting could do this – bit complicated though. Could also be coded.

Can do this for you, but would take a bit of work so not doing it for free

    The texture’s pretty bad though.
