    Hi Chucky,

The regular weekend jobbie is £32pp, so I guess the private is similarly priced. If it looks like there’s gonna be enough interest I’ll give Tally a bell to confirm price/availablilty.

^ I had the tube from the strip light above my desk removed and the headaches that I’d had since changing offices vanished.

Someone once told me that if you set the refresh rate of a PC monitor to 100hz you can really screw up the user as it’s the same frequency as strip lighting and creates an unseen all-round strobing effect*.

*This may be bollox. I’ve never seen the option for a 100hz refresh.

Last weeks research led me to think http://www.brechfa-bunkhouse.com would be about the best. They didn’t get back to me after leaving a couple of answerphone messages, though.

Didn’t get my shit together for the weekend anyway and ended up going to Deggly-Weggly instead.

    Seeing as you asked…

Sadly not in my garden – at my favourite local manor house/gardens open to public – Coton Manor[/url].
Currently displaying snowdrops & hellebores, which are v. nice, but not a touch on their bluebell wood.

As the sky at night is mainly black, space can’t be infinite, otherwise it would be all starry white due to the infinite number of stars.

Only if it had existed for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever. Amen.

I’ve hit 2 parked cars so far in my cycling career whilst struggling up hills; 1 I found myself sprawled over the bonnet – which I scratched quite badly. On finding the owner to apologise he looked at me like I was a nutter

Who the hell shops at Spar nowadays?

    Not me!
The one over the road changed to a Premier and the name of our house (Spaview) doesn’t amuse passers by anymore

    No woofy-dogs @ chez Rob but…

Queenie-Bumbles is snoozing on the bed having shared my chips.

MacCavity is in the kitchen – not ours (he’s a mystery cat), but tends to live under a bush in the garden, coming in for biscuits when peckish.

Puddy is in the shed. Also not ours; primary residence is next door, yet seems to prefer lounging on my bike bag, even through Winter.

I could be a mad cat lady, no problem.

^ I’m not advocating a full-on barney just for the hell of it

I prefer to make it obvious to people who are apt to give grief for no reason that it’s not welcome. It usually works quite well and they either f off or change tack and we end up having a nice chat.

I wondered about a cross bike as lots of the bridleways round by me are a struggle to ride (across working farm fields), but there are a decent number of farm tracks linked up by country lanes.

Decided it was a no-go as the compromise would (could?) make it the worst of both worlds; uncomfs off road/not as speedy on road. I do quite go for having the right tool for the job, so it’s an XC bike offroad & a racer onroad.

    Thin ?!

Maybe not – was relying on my unreliable memory.
I always buy whatever’s a decent bulk price and I defnly had some once that were a bit suspiciously un-thick. None have ever stood out as being more puncturable than others.

Except Nokian DH tubes! Bags of shite and uber-uber heavy!
Bought 4 & got through 3 of them in a week. Strangely I discovered I was still using one of them recently without realising – it’s been going for at least 5 years now!

    Still wouldn’t recommend them though.

On the basis of those 5 I’ll be dying happy.

    Loved the comment:

If I were to die in the next few minutes I would regret the fact that I’ve still not gotten dressed yet, and the coroner would pronounce my time of death and everybody would know that I’d gotten past noon without getting dressed.

In my defence, I’m waiting for a parcel so have to not be in the shower when it arrives. Given the unpredicatability of our post, this means I either have to get up and dressed really early before it’s likely to arrive, or stay in my pyjamas until it arrives, which could be any time from 8am to 3pm. I went for the latter. Of course this means that the postman would know that I’m lazing about, but I don’t know my postman (I get a varied set of posties, with varied timetables) and don’t care what he thinks.

I’ve used those ones from CRC before; maybe a little thin (but not silly) and don’t remember them popping any more than any others.

Think it’s poss without an embedded query if you set up a pivot chart as there is no data access for the user (unless they query the pivot cube using VBA).

Prob not a fantastic solution as my experience with pivot charts is they’re bobbins :)

EDIT: Seems some other users like them…
