not sure if you know but Sports Pursuit have them on sale. have a look at the bigger Trail one as this might be better if you want it for big days out.

    what he said^^^

big ring to big ring (not though mech) +2 links works for me!

also, make sure you front mech is set up right, with the extra tension is seemed to pull the chain off if not set up bob on.

the canyon has Talas so you can flick a switch and drop the travel so climbing is made a bit easier. i use it a lot and find it makes a difference. but as said any bike will do, just get fitter if struggling on climbs 😉

mine stuck when was really muddy. but i just took the slack off the cage and pulled the pin out, only needed a gentle pull and it sprung back and worked as normal after.

make sure you pull the cage back because the pin has a grove in it that locks the cage and give the pin wiggle/pull

If you look at your ride on strava site with pc/laptop you can change it to a satellite view! Not sure if you can use street view tho.

I’m new to this, but I have planed tonight’s ride around getting the most amounts of segments in as I can! Might make me crack on a bit!

Did cut gate yesterday and got a few top tens on the downs! But really crap on the ups! Must try harder

I have noticed some people are setting the segment to start just before the top of a hill, where a lot of people will stop to regroup, before the down! Checky, but clever

I was thinking about a vest today, but so many trails are overgrown and with 750 bars my arms are going to get ripped to shreds! Maybe I should just mtfu

both the same, force of gravity is a constant and not affected by weight.

if you forget about wind resistance and all the other variables are the same for both riders

+1 for Coniston Hall, as said ground is a bit rocky and take a few 50p for the showers.

i did put the bikes in the car over night tho
