If they pay cash then it might be worth it. You won’t have to post it, and won’t pay eBay or paypal fees either. EbAy fees might be £15 so its worth thinking about it.

How much were you hoping to get in the first place and how much did it cost and how long ago?

Grab yourself a Blu-ray player and a HDMI lead and then you’ll notice a huuuuuge difference. Even my wife notices…. :-)

Who put spesh mondeo as a tag? Own up!
I don’t think you’ll see many of them around at all, Spesh didn’t make many in 2008 and they didn’t sell so all the stock became the 2009 model. All sold within weeks so there’s been a lot of talk about them but I am sure you’ll see hundreds more Enduro’s and Stumpys than my bike.

So there. Most expensive bike I’ve ever bought and I’m proud as punch.
    :P

The best thing to do would be to check out a couple of magazines e.g. What Hi-Fi and the like. Some leads cost £50 and can be rubbish, but sometimes manufacturers sell one for £20 that is amazing value for money and makes a real difference. You don’t really know until you use it but the magazine reviews do at least give you a fighting chance.

Don’t assume more £ equals better, its not always true. I would always make a point of not going to places like Currys/Dixons/Comet etc as they tend to sell leads from big names that simply lood nice and shiny with weird colour leads but may not be better at all.

It SHOULD make a difference, but choose wisely!

I have found the fries to be quite good. I think they are better when they have just been fried. Not as good as BK but better than MacDonalds.

I have a very low key job. KFC is an expensive treat, especially the amount I just ate :burp:

New bike? That’s an excellent idea!!!!

    Always remember people:

(the ideal amount of bikes to own)=(current number of bikes owned) +1

I fancy a dirt jump type of bike.

Yeah, I can vouch for peterpoddys organisation. I’ve stayed at his house and witnessed it.

I hope one day to be able to prepare something the night before to eat the next day!!

It’s gorgeous, it’s just opened and everything is hot and fresh. I must admit it can be a bit crap when it’s kept warm.

If I had lost my job I would probably had a KFC anyway, might have just gone for a 2 piece variety meal instead of 3.

Still would gave gone large on the fries though ;-)

It’s just like driving your car and the steering wheel coming off. We all know this thread is going to be painful, but we’re in it and we’re just going to have to wait for the sickening crunch. ;-)

Why did anyone think that colour would be good?
Either natural carbon weave or a glossy bold colour like blue or red maybe.

Why not ride along over Nettleton Hill, down Clough road into Slaithwaite (mega steep!) then into town to start. Circular ride which should warm you up for the big ascent. :-)

I have managed to ride up Clough Road without stopping, once, it’s very painful but very rewarding when you manage it.

I could probably do it with my 42/25 gear on my road bike, and I am so unfit it would make you weep.

It should be fairly easy. Warm up well beforehand or that first hill will drain you too much. :-)

My very understanding wife (who paid for the bike and hasn’t minded it being sat in the lounge since it arrived) did say I can never sell it. And I HAVE to ride it lots.

Not really any negatives there, is there?

EHO deals with rats and bugs, rubbish, sanitation in restaurants and that sort of thing (works for local council).

EO works for government, looks at larger scale issues such as compliance in recycling, large factories, tips, etc. Also deals with environmental pollution emergencies such as chemical spills, leaks etc and advices police and emergency services. Can be called in to give expert witness in court etc.

EPO might be same as EO, don’t know.

I am not an expert but that’s what I know at the moment.

Don’t offer them round, unwrap them them, stack them on the table and toy with them the same way a high rolling poker player plays with his chips. You’ve got the biscuits, what have they got to bring to the table? Eh?

That would demonstrate a certain level of confidence!! :-D

If this is the job I think it is (Environmental Protection, not Environmental Health ;)), then the deadline’s tomorrow, so best get a wiggle on.

Yeah I know, my mistake, its an EO job, not EHO (my sis just told me off for saying that).

Nearly finished, will be emailed soon!
